Me thinks Reut should forget more often to put her digital recorder on Just kidding, just saying I love the article, great work Reut!! And as I predicted to you, the costumes turned out really nice, to my liking indeed Really like the things we always wanted to know list. About this So, they dislike fans changing flags? (kinda doubt that, unless it may be close rivals) Or.. they dislike fans saying they only love them and then go cheer for others too? Or.. was it all in positive light just saying, yeah we notice, thanks!! *puzzled* Seance tho? Hmm, I miss the candles You nearly killed me with the Dutch Ice Dancers comment tho. Who who?? (for the not-aware, I am Dutch and should know )

Reut, it is really so good your Kerrs story. I read it in one breath and totally enjoyed it! So different and so interesting! And all those "things you always wanted to ask"...

pia, I'm glad you liked it. That meeting was definitely a highlight of my trip, I hope I was able to pass at least the part of that fun I had when I talked to S&J. They are such a nice people.

Me thinks Reut should forget more often to put her digital recorder on Haha, you don't know how puzzled I was on my way back to my friends when we talked and talked and talked and after that I had absolutely no idea what to write. I am glad. Am glad here too. Hope when I see them live this weekend I'll have my opinion. I think it was the second option. And a bit of the third that they actually recognize their fans. But maybe John will come here and correct me. The whole conversation went something like this. John: Have you seen Abbott's short? You really should. me: Actually, I saw and didn't understand what was all the "WOW" thing around it. But maybe I just can't be objective, because the only skater I really love his performances is Stephane. I just can't see others... John: You're such a devoted fan. And then all the story about "devoted" fans they have who tell them they are only ones and change flags after that. But I actually I tried to protect such fans, that maybe they also have flag of their own country, I said that at Nebelhorn I had two flags too: Israeli and Swiss. I don't know who they are. John told me they were Dutch dancers... Sorry. Maybe I was wrong? Maybe I didn't hear it right?

I don't know who they are. John told me they were Dutch dancers... Sorry. Maybe I was wrong? Maybe I didn't hear it right? We did have a bro and sister couple. Thought they quitted tho. Maybe new ones? Would be cool. But honestly, when it comes to Dutch skating I am often out of the loop. I did hear Karen Venhuizen got an injury and that right after the whole coming over the guillan barre (sp?) ilness set her back so much she decided to quit. Which I am pretty sad about, she fought so hard. Maybe I should drag my butt to Dutch nationals instead of the Swedish ones this year Anyyyyyway, this was about Kerrs. Tbh, I did think it was the second option, but it was a lil open for interpretation. And if John feels for venturing out of their own MB and clarify it for us here, he is very welcome to do so And to the "you have no idea how puzzled I was" Oh yes dear, I have Been there, done that, will prolly do it again. LOL

I'm pretty sure John meant that some people probably say to a given skater, "oh you're the best, I only love you!!" and then turn around and say the same thing to the next skater that walks by. Maybe good naturedly picking on people? That it's ok to support more than one skater.. just admit that you are. ..At least that is what I assumed from that part! Good job, Reut! I enjoyed reading what you experienced.

Yeah, me too, I think it was the case he related to. caprica8, I'm sorry, I'm afraid I don't have such a large bag. And about "forgetting more often to put her digital recorder on", happened yesterday, but I didn't forget this time, it just didn't work, at the moment I needed it the most! And, no, I really don't want such experience one more time. Also I wanted to thank Mel for the editing of this article.
