Stéphane choreographed the SP last week in Oberstdorf with Salome Brunner. He might talk about the music in his next journal entry, so stay tuned

Oh, we're ALWAYS tuned. I hope it'll take him less time than a month like it was with previous entries... And thank you for the news, I was somewhat a bit worried that Salome wasn't mentioned in press release.

Here is the clip to download Interview in French (07.26.2009)www.mediafire.com/?hwd00jyy3tiI heard that the themes of the show are classic for the first part and modern for the second one (If I'm wrong, correct me please..) so I tried to remember his program correspond to the theme for the 1st part, but surprisingly, I couldn't find any other one than "Four seasons"! Thank you for the video and for the info about the show. So there is a really good chance Korean fans will see the new SP very soon. Cool.

Salome rocks! I'm so glad that Stephane has an awesome choreographer to work with, who makes amazing programs. Also, glad that Stephane doesn't work with choreographers that 29485748394 other skaters use like Lori Nichol or David Wilson.

Actually, it would be very good for Stephane to work with Wilson to twit his (already choreographed) programs for competitions. Wilson is COP master and still manages to produce beautiful and meaningful programs from time to time. He didn't have the highest levels for Poeta.

I think you are confusing that with something / someone else. I checked the protocols of his performances at Worlds and GPF 2007 plus Europeans 2008 - and he had level 3 on his step-sequences (level 4 is extremely rare), one level 3 spin and three level 4 spins. I would say that's pretty good. Wilson can't do better.

Chaerea, you're right, I forgot Tosca. It would be a little bit off-topic, but if I talk about his Tosca, I have somewhat strange feelings. That is the music is one of the most overused skating music, so any program to this music would be considered far from original. BUT! for Stehane, I feel quite the contrary because, considering his usual repertory, Tosca is somewhat special. I mean, 'ordinary' turns to 'special' in Stephane's case (does it make any sense? sorry for my english ) Furthermore, Tosca with ladybug costume is, what to say, more than original and imaginary. Isn't it? ;D Well, back to topic, I hope he'll show his new SP in Korea, but I guess he could also perform "Ne me quitte pas" as it's one of the great 'classic' french songs, as if Summertime is a great classic jazz music like said lamur muse. But who knows? It's Stephane, the unpredictable guy. So wait and see... (Could we get some informations about that from his new entry in near future?) Me too glad he worked with Salome. Probably she must understand Stephane more than any one so as to mount the choreography suits him perfectly. I think working with person like Salome would be important for Stephane, because it seems that it's Stephane who creates mouvements et gestures and Salome would help him as advisor during their collaboration, judging from what she told about the chreographic process ( absoluteskating.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Stphane&action=display&thread=1630&page=15 ), even if it would be also interesting to see him work with different choreographers. I don't know why, but I for one have been feeling his short programs project more his own personality and originality than his LP even if I loooooooove his free programs as well. Especially his lates short programs (I agree to Paul Wylie commeting the choreo of 'Carne Cruda' is breaking new ground). So I hope (and I'm sure) he will show us one more creative and beautiful short program.
