I think what's great about this song is that it's so uplifting (literally ) and it just builds and builds. Total Euphoria

I've learned much earlier that I shouldn't complain about Stéphane's music choices. In 2008 I guess. Carne Cruda and Poeta weren't actually my taste of music. And I've found it too cliche to go on the ice with a rose, while skating to Romeo & Juliet. I basically was disappointed with his (first) comeback, he was older and more mature and less fun for me. Well, I think I don't need to say these negative thoughts went away really quickly. Then I changed my signature to something like: "One shall never judge the two-time World Champion's taste of music and choreography." I've been through the second phase this year. I constantly thought "OK, it can't be better than this, noone, even Stéphane can't be better than this." But after seeing Wilhelm Tell in the Olympics, it was obvious, that I was wrong. The third phase is probably the one you think "I can't love him more, can I?". But now I'm starting to think I will love him more every year until he quits skating completely (including the shows), and even more after he does put his skates away (with the heartache of his absence ). It's hard to admit this. What's the next lie I don't know. Maybe something like: "I'll eventually get bored." No, it's not happenning Keten. To be honest: You're in love with a fairytale, even though it hurts; I don't care if you lose your mind, You're already cursed

ok. Now finally I watched too. First impresion - HAPPINESS on Steph face! Smile and emotions... that's what I was waiting for sooooo long! about program - I am not 100% convinced. I mean, it's great as I am used to see of Steph but ... I don't know. Maybe I'm just all the time curiouse which face of him I'll see this time and I am waiting for something surpricing (like was with "Sexy back". His program and characterisation made me almost shocked ). With Anastasia they made amazing duet. Extra touching one and the spins.... WOW!!!!!!!! I think that since really VERY long time I haven't seen him making such a great, fast and entertaining them. BUT... exactly. But such a Steph I know already and I just probably need to swallow the fact that this time won't be anything "different". .... ah, this happiness on his face nevermind about program becasue this is the most important for me to see

Well well well, after beeing able to watch the show yesterday evening and today in the afternoon the only thing I can say is WOW !!! Truely LOVED Steph's "four seasons" since 1:I LOVE the fact that the old costume is back and 2 I'm a huge fan of David Garret Although I need to say that Anastacia's voice was sometimes almost annoying to the ears I saw her live two years ago and it was much different, much stronger, than it is at AoI. But to sum it up,2010 edition of AoI was one (along with the one from 08 with Gimme more Sexy back, stuff of legends ) of the best so far !! Amazing artistery, good music, great skaters, fantastic audience. Today after the show I went to someone I know who's working for the venue,he was working that day on a Gate where all the cars, shuttles come in and out. While we were talking....Guess who passed me ? Monsieur Lambiel He was very kind and sweet and I could chat a little and even take a pic (I felt like a stalker, meh!! LOL)

Did you talk to him in French or German? Just curious I think it's very admirable that he's such a polyglot. Love people who speak so many languages. How nice that you met him twice...and i totally understand what you mean by turning stupid. I mean, you want to tell him so many things, about how great he is and how much we admire him, how much his skating is a part of our lives, how we are grateful that we saw him in Vancouver even if he didn't skate perfectly. But the thing is that you will still look like a silly little fan(at least that's how i would feel)...i think i would like to have him as a friend, since he seems like such a great person, but that's obviously as close to impossible as it gets. So we have to settle for watching him on tv or live, and maybe getting to say hi on the street one day....

I thank you, too! It's wonderful to be able to log on here and find all these videos and photos and articles and impressions! The videos of the new program and of the spirals were excellent - super-clear and full of great content! It seems to me that Stephane is doing a lot of new variations on his spin positions and arching, and, of course, the spirals. I can imagine how it must have been incredible the next night, when Anastacia was prepared for the magic and there was even more connection between them. Stendhal Syndrome from Stephane - that's brilliant!

nadin and lambieladdicted, thank you very much for your impressions directly from Hallenstadion! While reading I felt like I was there with you - an amazing feeling. Thank you! WOW! I've just noticed that it was my 1000th post on this forum. Some kind of anniversary, I guess So I'll say a small speech: I love you all, guys, and wish to stay here for another 1000 posts at least, because I will never be able to express how much I owe Stephane and all of you here. Thank you for everything! P.S. Mods, sorry for the off topic!

I’m right back from tonight’s AoI Show and I’m tired...but I have to sit down and type right now my feelings about it while I am still under the spell of this magical evening.
There were a lot of things to remember, what a colourful, breathtaking and mind-blowing show! There were also things beyond skating which I liked very much. For example a guy in a Rhön-Rad (sorry I know the word only in German). It’s a kind of wheel and you can stand in it. Well and this guy danced on the ice in this wheel...really thrilling! Or there were artists on Harley Davidson and the made acrobatics, very spectacular!
But of course I liked the most the skaters... It was so beautiful to see the fusion of the artists on stage with the skaters. I liked very much David Garrett, what a nice and good-looking and very talented young man! Bringing Pop music and classical sounds together in combination with several skaters, wonderful! And of course Anastacia, never have seen her before life on stage, what a nice experience!
A big surprise for me was Evgeny. Well I admire Evgeny for his technical skills, but I don’t like his style of skating. But one thing I have to admit, this guy definitely knows how to play with the audience. And tonight he got me...he got all of us! First he was doing a Tango and in second part the exhibition programm “Je suis malade”. This time I really had the feeling, that he is skating with his heart and of course he showed his marvellous jumps. And by the way I think he was at the hairdressers...
And finally HE entered the scene.. the one and only, the master of spins, the God of Art, the king of the hearts... First he showed the zebra in a new version together with David. Well, we had seats very very up and far away from the ice, so I couldn’t see his face, but anyway it was a wonderful performance! But I must say I even liked better his second one with the Anastacia song. A typical Stephane-Programme with all his heart and soul, passionate and sensitive. The crowd went crazy at the end. Tonight I thought, this man can’t be real, gifted with so many talents, with his passion and sensitivity, very diplomatic and clever in interviews, a genious on the ice and last but not least looking so damned sexy...
At the end, big party, everybody dancing and having fun...oh it was really really great, and already over... Go to sleep now and dream on...

Thanks, kadri I hope you will stay here for some thousands of posts too . Thank you for sharing your impressions, thalassa! Yeah, the world is lucky to have Stephane As for Plush I saw this program at the Gala in Vancouver and while I was watching it a strange thought came to my mind: it's SO not Plush's style. It could be just a coincidence, but I just felt like I knew where the inspiration came from. I just can't NOT compare 2 similar programs. And though I found Evgeni's skating that time quite sincere and passionate I can't like it. Because I have something much more unforgettable to compare with and also maybe because I have quite a negative attitude towards Plush as a person. But I really like the song "Je sui malade" and listen to it with a great pleasure, so I have to say thank you to Plush for making me familiar with it .

I have attended the Saturday afternoon show. It was a great show. It was different than the other years and it also had some things which I didn't like very much, e. g. too many acrobats and the moderation (I missed the funny comments of Sandra Studer & Rainer M. Salzgeber). And I thought also that Anastacia's part was a bit too short. It was only about 40 minutes. Stéphane's "4 seasons" was beautiful but not as breathtaking as "In your eyes" and also quite short. The absolut highlight was "In your eyes"! Before the song Anastacia asked the spectators if the show was great so far. The spectators clapped and shouted. Stéphane was already there on the ice in the dark. She said than something like, ok, if you have liked it until now, you will like it even more now because of Stéphane. I don't remember the exact words unfortunately. Then she asked Stéphane: "Are you ready?" (and something else, that I unfortunately not remember, maybe someone else does). But it was such a sweet moment! Then the music began and Stéphane put all his emotions on the ice. There is so much in this program that you don't realize it. I had tears in my eyes after it! It's really something so special and you cannot describe it with words. It was my fourth Art on Ice and I must say that "In your eyes" is by far the most beautiful program of Stéphane, I've seen there, and maybe ever.

Thanks goldguegi for your report I so much agree with everything you said. "In your eyes" is like a program from another planet. When I was filming it on Thursday all this energy was flowing and it was like it would make my camera explode soon... Anastacia's comments were so funny and sweet, as far as I remember she also said "Stéphane and I are getting in trance together now" Here's one more short video from the finale on Saturday night: Stéphane doing a quad and dancing with Anastacia www.mediafire.com/?zd2grizwmwy
