well, y'all might have heard, plush didnt skate at both the prague and budapest show. (just got an sms from Helga that he didn't and she thought he was ill or so)seems like he was banned by the ISU or Jap fed. to skate there. very sad... he heard the news in Prague and was obviously upset he couldnt skate, he talked to the audience that he was very sorry but he couldn't skate. some of the audience booed him so I read and he talked to the audience several times during the show and after the last time he did he just left. poor guy from what I read it seemed like he was really upset.

I am here:)
Just for minutes..
Here, they said, that he skated in Prague.. The organizers.. They told only at the entrance, that there are changes in the programm.. Lots of people gave back their tickets..
I am a bit disappointed about it, however i didnt have ticket. But he is one of my favourites.. But I think, the decision of the ISU is totally FAIR. They have right...
Organizers said, that he is here, in Budapest, and he is ILL! I know, that it is not the organizers' mistake, but... They should tell to the audience, what's happened.. It would be the correct way.. But perhaps this would abash Plushenko or ISU..

well he had his reasons not to perform in Canada and Japan. from what I understood, it would be too much for his ears to fly to Canada first and then to Japan. Also I heard things that he wanted to take some rest here and there before the olys, so he'd be ready....a show is much less demanding to do than a competition but it's still skating and feedback from the fans...so...

Well as far as I know he wasn't in Prague AT ALL. They told it on tv...
He was there just some days ago promoting AOI.. but he wasn't here for the show.

Well I agree that it was a bit unfortunate for him to schedule the show exact the same day like the GP, but I also gotta say that skating shows isn't the same demanding... plus to the public who obviously booed him

hmm... I have been too busy to actually keep up with everything, based on what I read here now, I would certainly think doing a show is less demanding for the body then a competition, becuase you can at the second decide what your body can handle or not, while for a comp you will have to do all requirement elements. So I can understand why someone who is injured can skate a show but not a competition (like 'injured' people who skate 'pro' more for an audience then while they were still competing...fe Alexei Yagudin) I can imagine that the ISU is not happy with that desicion, or other people withdrawing, but are skaters actually obligated to skate at the gp's? And for booing at him!...

The ISU just proved again to me that sometimes they can completely suck by banning him just a short time before the event starts...
