Sunny! So and I!!! YAY! For LOTM!!!!! Go diable! Lovely enthusiasm! Great to see! Thanks... It's true.. but I'm very emotional.. I'm a sportsmen myself, not a skater, but gymnast.. I feel the music very well (my coach always says that.. ) and I experience with the skaters especially, when skaters are my lovely skaters.. And when you see everything LIVE, you seat there and cheer for them, for your Sinead and John.. they wave you.. you talk with Sinead.. it's fantastic so you see I have so many reasons to be enthusiastic I waited for it about 2 years, 'cause I haven't seen them live since WC-2005.. so i was verrrrry excited!! I'll post photos later

Are you a rhythmic gymnast or Artistic diable? Good Luck with your sporting career btw. It'll be nice to see your photos.

diable--I hadn't seen them since 04 SA and was glad to have the opportunity as I've watched them right along since. Gymnastics does certainly have many similarities to skating and I agree re: the music.

Are you a rhythmic gymnast or Artistic diable? Good Luck with your sporting career btw. It'll be nice to see your photos. I'm an Artistic gymnast + I'm fond of dancing difficult to explain, though, but I'm doing dancing competitions as well, and I have quite good level I'm going to our Russian Nationals in January, I'd like to be in top 10! I have trainings every day, but during CoR I missed them.. I missed a looooooooot bad of me, eh? Everything to see S&J and well Isa and Olivier, too. I like them. Thank you so much for wishing me good luck!!!! So sweet of you!!! I'm not sure I have any gym photos on my PC, but I'll look for them!

Yeah, I understand you Sunny!!!! it was almost the same!!!!! RG has more similarities to skating.. but ok, we do have floor exercises it's my fav in artistic. Because we use musssiiiic!!! But I hate the balance beam ... I had a terrible knee injury last year But off-ice dancing has even more similarities with Ice-daincing than gym I'm going to ask my coach to allow me using LOTM music for the routine one day it's sooo beautiful!!!!

Yes, dance definitely has many similarities too. Dancing is a lot of fun. I love the LOTM music but I'm always fearful to use it in a program as I don't want it to be too repetitious. The cuts worked out nicely for S&J.

Yeah, I'm always fearful as well, but I'm not pretending to be "somewhere near S&J", I could never be so it will be just fun to make a routine to this very music.. when you love the music, you have a chance to make better routine, better image, right? And you skate?

Definitely. I think the more you feel the music the better you can improve your performance. I have a friend that has the music for her long program at the moment. I always figured if I decided to use it, I would know when was right. I have the cd and I've listened to it on and off. Yes, I skate. When I am not picking music, lots of music sounds great for programs but when it comes time to actually choosing it, all the sudden I get really picky! I'm sure it'd make a great program for you. My music right now is from the Disney Millenium Celebration cd (actually it was the music Kevin VDP used for his LP at SA...though not all the same cuts since the suite is 9:29 long!! That one is a PAIN to cut).

Ohhh sunny, you are lucky! I always wanted to skate, but my mom decided it was too dangerous but I'm still going artistic! ;D ridiculous! I'd like so much to see a video of you or at least some photo if you happen to have some time and to have photos you can share, don't hesitate, please! As for me, I have a routine to Panjabi MC now and also my competitive dancing routine to Liberta (it was the FD of Marina and Gwendal in 2002 ), but I have another version and another cut, 'cause I'm allowed to do only 2min15 And do you compete? Where? Sorry, I'm curious hope youdon't mind!

I decided all of the sudden (almost 11 years ago) that I was going to skate. Once determination set in I was not to be deterred. I do have a program though it is about the worst technical example of my skating. www.savefile.com/files/290601 It's a showcase/interpretive program so technical stuff doesn't matter so much but it's embarrassing how poorly I skated technically! I can email you a few pics. I'd love to see one of your routines! My long can't be over 2:40 or under 2:20. Mine is 2:40. I haven't yet but plan on skating at Adult Sectionals (at least if not also Adult Nationals) this year and I've skated in the Empire State Games twice and plan to again this year. (New York state games). I do other random competitions from time to time in the area (all in the US). I'm close enough to Canada that I could compete but I just never have. I used to compete against synchro teams from Canada.

Yay! Thank you so much!!!!!!!! I didn't expect you could post all this wonderful stuff so quickly!!!! Thankssss!!! Can't wait to watch the program! Only.. my computer is super slow it's going to take forever to dowload your program, but I can always watch it at the university! Wow.. it's really sweet of you to email me some pics I'd love to show you my last routine, 'cause I still love it and perform it with pleasure, but I have no video of it. Maybe I'll ask someone to take a video one day at the training Actually, my long can't be over 2:15 or under 1:45. But 1:45 is just nothing so I always try to make a cut for 2:15 And your competitional schedule sounds fab!!!!! Ohhh, best of luck for you!!!!!!!! Tell us when you have a competition I'll be crossing my fingers for you!

I hope it works for you. Some people had probs with it stopping (but that's ok if it deters from the beret that didn't quite work). And thanks for the luck. Empires is at the end of Feb, Sectionals at the beginning of March and if I go to Nationals ($$$), that's mid-April.
