Thanks Jac, I didn´t know that Caro was first after the break. It seems like they cut the programs together because they first showed a minute of D/S. Have a nice day

Sinead & John talked twice. First they said about the music, being different, using new music that they could dance to off the ice. After the FD they said that they felt last year they peaked with their program at Euros but this time, as the program was harder, they hoped to peak at worlds. John said he felt they could improve the technical performance by 30%! Thanks Mel! I´ll keep my fingers crossed for Worlds!

eh eh eh yesterday evening I saw the last day of the european championship..PLUSHENKO was very funny.. It's the first time I see a skating championship from begin to the end. It's a very nice sport, it's a pity that I'm too old to do it..maybe I can only go to skate on ice as I know: very very normally and not so artistic! Bye bye

*lol* Why not? Come on , we will do that together cause my artistic side wouldn't show on the ice either probably;) It really is a pity.I would love to be able to do that too but at least there are wonderful skaters out there worth watching*g*
But hey! Maybe if we believe in ourselves just good enough, we will be able to dance over the ice as we could never have imagined;)

Hello everyone and welcome to the new posters! I'm (finally) back! No internet from Friday morning till now, and it feels like there's so much to say! First, well, I saw Stéphane on Friday morning right after I had posted here and he was in a great mood again, feeling totally fine (despite the paaaaaaarty they had had ) and already "looking ahead". He'll VERY likely change his LP for Worlds - if he finds a music that inspires him. I didn't see him much other than that, he was quite busy and there're always so many people around him, it's amazing. He really can't show up anywhere without people jumping on him. And then there're other (medalist) skaters sitting in the stands all week long who don't get bothered... that must mean something. I just saw him very quickly on Saturday after the ladies' LP, I went to the hotel to see if he was around and to my biggest surprise all the skaters were there dressed up - for a minute I was wondering if I was lost and that it was actually Sunday, but nope, the banquet was moved to Saturday night because so many skaters were leaving on Sunday already (including all the skaters who will perform at Art on Ice from tomorrow until Sunday, so that's quite a few). But nothing special then, we hardly talked. Grmpf that they didn't show the whole exhibition on Eurosport. IMO the crowd sucked, all week long but even more at the exhibition, they almost made me feel bad when I clapped. Dunno if I had missed the announcement asking us to be quiet. 95% of the audience didn't know anyone, even Fede&Massi and Caro didn't get much support/applause. Stéphane was one of the highlights of the exhibition, he was definitely one of the favorites and got so much response from the (dead) audience, I couldn't believe they had woken up (but then they obviously fell asleep again). He skated to Tosca, and I really hope you can all see that program "somehow somewhere". He was SO into it, landed a 3F-3T and whichever other triple, and HE WAS SINGING with Florent Pagny!! It brought tears to my eyes, and God knows that I should be "used to" seeing him skate with so much feeling and so much passion, but geez, that little boy is truly amazing. I guess I've found my new definition of the word "beauty". I guess that's about it for now...

:It's a very nice sport, it's a pity that I'm too old to do it.. Huh? How old are you? I do it! Well, erm, I try. I even put a dress on and did 5 tests, a program with a single flip and loop and a sit spin! Hey, and passed! Mwhahahaha. I have a pic of my parallel spin and me in a skating dress when I was 10 . community.webshots.com/user/melanie32uk

He'll VERY likely change his LP for Worlds - if he finds a music that inspires him. Wow, that'll be a challenge to get it ready in time, won't it? Mind you, if anyone can do it, he can! And then there're other (medalist) skaters sitting in the stands all week long who don't get bothered... that must mean something. He's the most wanted skater / gardener I've ever seen. Grmpf that they didn't show the whole exhibition on Eurosport. I was truly gutted. I guess I've found my new definition of the word "beauty". What took you so long, Cel? Thanks for that info. It's good to know that he has such a bright and positive outlook, as he should have!

I was so looking forward to see Stéphane at the gala! It would have made my wonderful day (it was my 18th birthday) even more wonderful! So I couldn't wait till the gala finally begin, sat there with my video ready to tape and ... there was no Stéphane!!! I was really so disapointed in Eurosport!!!!! Why didn't they start with the numbers 4 or 5? snif Can't wait till Worlds!!!!

OMG where to begin ? First of all thanks for the welcome Celine and especially...of course....for all your news! It's really great to hear that he can smile and be happy again. It would be a shame if he didn't know that he is fantastic and if we all know that he can do it, he should know too:) I was worried after reading how bad he was feeling. But girl...you truelly know how to make me feel even more angry about this spleeeeeendid channel...Eurosport!*grrrrrrr* He was singing!!!! And skating of course and I didn't get to see anything of it! No no no! Can you imagine how I feel? Especially cause my nice Uni even blocks any chance of getting to downlaod his part in the next three weeks! Gosh......life is unfair. How am I supposed to revise;P Ok...I admit...I could even concentrate for three hours today but I guess that still isn't enough*lol* Ok back to the topic;P Alll skaters were dressed up? I would have loved to see that. I mean it must be amazing to see all of them together. In my opinion they should show some of their training on TV too but of course they don't.....I always liked watching training sessions very much....when everything is so normal;) Does anyone understand that?*g* But this audience...arg.....how can they be like that?! Ok I mean..most of them aren't used to figure skating I guess ..but it was a gala after all!! A bit more enthusiam wouldn't have been wrong. They really must have been aweful if you even felt hesitant to clap.....pfff......if I eeeever get the chance to see it live I will support you;)) Oh Mel*lol* I don't know how old she is but I know that I am young...but I am too old for it nevertheless. I mean how often have I been on the ice ? No more often than approximately 8 times and that's the max. I am happy if I don't fall!!*lol* But after my exams I know sure as hell that I will take the free time that I have left here before I go home again to try out this ice skating center in the next town*g* And Liesje!Congrats!! Even if I am late now;P But I know how you felt, after all I felt the same *grumbles* But why they did that......it was the second half after the break they showed and that started with Carolina...and why they didn't show the first and most important part........just few words....another live steaming......ski jumping!*grrrr* Anyway I will talk to you tomorrow...or later maybe. depends if I get something done now or if I will be off to be...totally disappointed in myself*lol* *waves*

eurosport.... I can only agree with all of you who posted about the little "accident" Eurosport had during the gala....*extremely sarcastic* I could not believe my eyes... And what is the worst...i COULD have had the whole gala, cause our TV showed it (to my immense suprise) unshortened...which i found out AFTER it had ended ...I was relying on Eurosport, because our TV normally cuts the gala to pieces...So i am at myself, too... Actually, this whole gala taping at my house was a little short of a disaster...I could not watch it at the time (evening rerun on Eurosp) so I taped it...and my dad came later on and said that it had ended and so he turned the recorder off...I wasn´t really paying atention, so i said yeah, go ahead...too late did I realize that it certainly wasn´t over yet... I missed the whole Sex bomb piece!!!!!!! OH NOOOO!!! Not only Stéphane, but also Plushenko...talk about BAD LUCK! LUCKILY...they showed it again on monday, so i have Plushenko...now if only they showed it again on OUR Czech TV...then I could have Stéph Sorry, had to get it out of me... And I still can´t believe they robbed me of Stéphane...I was looking forward to him almost more than to Plushenko... OMG, I can´t believe I just said that...
