Joubert retired from TEB due to illness.. so he won't be able to compete at the GPF in Turin. I know it's not nice to say, and of course i would have liked better Brian to compete, but this gives Steph a bigger chance to go to Turin.. even if i'm sure he can go anyway 'cause i expect a great performance from him at the CoR!

I do not think Stéphane cares about going to GPF but skating well and accomplishing all the things he planes to do.

Joubert retired from TEB due to illness.. so he won't be able to compete at the GPF in Turin. I was so sad when I read about this. Joubert is not my favorite skater, but I definitely respect the fact that he works so hard and loves skating so much. It's a pity he has to miss out on a competition that means so much to him. I hope the illness isn't chronic, and I wish him a speedy recovery. Sorry about being OT. ETA: Oh and I forgot to say THAAAANKKKS for all the recent articles! Leana, your translation of the Nouvelliste interview is just amazing! And I love everything that Stephane says, it's all very insightful and I like that.

I do not think Stéphane cares about going to GPF but skating well and accomplishing all the things he planes to do. I think he said in one of the latest interviews that he wants to go back to the place of the Olympics. Whatever - I do care because I have tickets

Joubert retired from TEB due to illness.. so he won't be able to compete at the GPF in Turin. Yes, I read already about in "AS-Basics"... And my first thought was: I can imagine how sad Brian's fans will feel about, as we had here on this board a similiar situation with Stéphane last year. It might be for some Brian's fan even worse as this happens of all things in his homecountry! - Though this unpretended situation, I wish specially to all these fans who goes to Paris this weekend and wanted support Brian, that they are able to enjoy the performances of others skaters too. TEB has IMO still a very interesting entery list! To Brian: Get well soon! If he achieves this that will delight him most of all, specially after what happened last weekend. And the rest might be on top. - So: GO Stéphane!
