I do like it... especially how it sounds... That's cool you like the sound... My freind told me a few days ago that while she was in the US someone told her that german sounded as if someone barks I thought "uhhhm OKAYYYYY" LOL

Yeah i can imagine that very well.. at the beginning i could never undersatnd people who said german is so difficult blah blah" but after i thought about it and saw all the differences and small things you have to consider in german i was like well, i thought like that because for me it was no problem since it is my mother-tongue... Now i have a huge respect for people who actually learn or want to learn german I think it's difficult too, because of those "cases" of words. A couple of years ago I had to learn all the articles and prepositons of the different cases....wow that's just a lot of work to study it and to keep remembering it. I still know them, but I definately can't use them during speaking....

It sounds great ya, I speak it a little, but I can read and understand it quite well. I would like to speak it good too Almost the same problem... Reading is ok, but speaking... You've got so much tricky things to take into account while speaking... especially the cases you've mentioned... which verb does with which preposition and which case is to be used... That's it... But still I do like it and enjoy uttering the words especially if I manage to do it fluently...

Ergh, German is hard for me, too. I had to sing a song in German for choir - took me ages to get all the inflections down, etc etc. I'm muuucch better at French and other languages. Odd, because I supposedly have a very good French accent. Haha.
