Jamal was GRRRRRRREAT on Friday. Not only did his jumps work as he wanted them to, but I must say that his program was my favorite of the day. The choreography goes well with the music and with Jamal's style. Beautiful. Of course he was thrilled to have improved his PB and to be 5th, and I was just as excited as if he had won! On Saturday, no idea of what happened. The warm-up went well, the 3-3 looked easy, later he told me that the practice in the morning had also been good and that he didn't understand why nothing worked in the program. It was a pity that he couldn't pull out a performance like on Friday. Oh well, he said he'll keep on working hard (I have no doubt that he has been doing that for a long time and that he won't stop now) and hopes to have a better LP at Swiss Nats and in Warsaw. And of course he hopes that the SP will be just as good both times, if not better.
