Here i am again!!!! Well first of all i want to say hello to everybody and specialy to Helga who i couldn t talk with her so much but she is anyway always in my mind. Training continues here in moscow and today was the birthday of Alexander Uspenski. Congrats!!!!!! Finally the spring is coming to Moscow and it s getting warmer. Around 10 15 degrees Celsius. ;D The flowers and growing and the city is getting green again and there is no more snow. My russian is getting really better. Im studing in the MGU University everyday 3 hours between my training. This University is the biggest in Russia and is really beautiful. If ones u come to moscow is one of the things u must visit. Now i m able to have a conversation but anyway i have to work in vocabulary verbs and of course in the very complex russian gramatic. One normal day here is Moscow for me is like that: I wake up aroun 5 45 and then i go to my first training at 8 (I must be at 730 to warm up) then i go to my russian courses and just going out of it i come back to the ice rink for my second training. Then I have off ice training and depending on the day i go to the gym or to coreographie. Just on sunday and satuday i have time to go out and visit some museums and seighseeing so i havent visitied already all moscow. But for now i can recomend u a lot The tretiakov Galery, specialy the painting of Ivan the Terrible and his son and also the Patriark lake romantic and beautiful (ideal if u what to take ur love there jajaja). Hope to write soon and take care! Adrian

Hola Adrian,
It's interesting to see your news. I used to coach at La Pista San Jeronimo (1994-1995) and I wonder if that's where you train when you're in Mexico City? Or Lomas Verdes? Just curious.
All the best for your time in Moscow, Melinda

Priviet Melinda! Ohhh welll in Mexico I used to train .... Where there would be ice without poeple! LOL It was very difficult because as i suppose u know, in Mexico there are not closed icerinks for trainings. So sometimes i trained in san jeronimo, some times in lomas verdes and also in a really small ice rink where they allowed me to train almost alone with my coach. But... do triples there it was so diffucult! Like in show ice rinks! Now in Mosvisch the ice is perfect everyday and we dont have ploblems with the zamboni as its usual in Mexico! LOL!

Priviet Melinda! Ohhh welll in Mexico I used to train .... Where there would be ice without poeple! Yes, I remember, most of my athletes had really good spins because they could train their spins in the centre with hundreds of people skating around the edges in the public session, and weaker jumps because you simply can't train jumps if you can't use the whole ice. I was hoping that had changed in the last 10 years. ¡ Animo ! y suerte con tus entrenamientos. Melinda

Hey Adrian! Thanks for keeping us updated. I hope things are going well for you. Sounds like training in Moscow was a very good change for you... Btw, I can´t imagine a figure skater practicing with the public on ice at the same time Well, I guess it´s better than nothing...

we dont have enough skating rinks, and except the practicerink of the federation all are available for public... thats not bad, rather good but sometimes the skaters can go to practice at the same time when there is public skating too, especially if the skaters are not from Budapest... The rinks arent on Budapest are closed usually in the summer, sometimes are open only in the winter.. so the skaters from those towns go to practice to Budapest at the weekends... Did the spring also arrive to Moscow, Adrian?
