Hey guys. Yeah my short was really good. I had a small bobble in each footwork but the jumps went well for me.
There were a good amount of clean programs, or programs with just one small mistake like a stepout or something like that, so it's really tight packed points-wise. Wish me luck in the long!

Shaun finished in 8th place overall. His long program wasn't perfect, but like Suzie said, his first triple axel was absolutely beautiful! Too bad he had a fall on the second 3 axel. This score for Shaun is 15 points above is current personal best.
Congratulations Shaun for a very good competition, and I hope you are not too disappointed.
Caroline.

The commentators loved the deep knees in the jump landings.

I haven't been able to watch the telecastyet but I heard it was mostly positive.
There were some choreographical issues that neither my coach or I noticed that cost me some points, butnothing major (it would have cost me at most 2 placements). Either way, I'm very happy with how I skated and I'm right now planning to do all the major summer competitions to sort of "campaign" my way to the better Senior B assignments and possibly (although this is a very long longshot) the 3rd spot at Skate America. I'm tkaing a couple weeks off for now though, and when I come back I'm going to work very hard on getting my quad toe back to how consistent it was this summer, and get back to work on quad sal and quad loop.
