Hi I had my competition this weekend.
All went fairly well. I got my short out there and I got good feedback on it. My long was a great improvement over Liberty. The only big mistakes I had in the program were popping my 2nd triple axel and my triple flip (both of which are dumb mistakes I didn't need to make). I had a step out too, but these are things that will go away as I train my programs more.
The day after I got to take my first trip to a casino. I played poker for about 4-5 hours before I drove the rest of the way home. It was a ton of fun! Can't wait until I have a chance to go again once I have enough money to make a weekend of it.
There will be a few pictures and (hopefully) a video on my website soon. I have both, but I was only able to receive a VHS tape of my program, so I will find a way to get it on my computer or my parents' Mac.

yes, great news! Thank you Shaun! Will you skate in Europe this season? For example again in Oberstdorf?

yes, great news! Thank you Shaun! Will you skate in Europe this season? For example again in Oberstdorf? I don't think so. Because of my [poor] performance at Nationals this year I don't think I'm going to be sent overseas. Which is fine - I just have to kick ass this year and the three years after that

Good job Shaun! Looks like you are off to a good start. Do you know yet what competitions you will attend this season?
It's funny that you like poker. My boyfriend is a big poker player. We are just back from Las Vegas where he played in the World Series of Poker. He won his entry fee via Poker Stars for the second year in a row. This year, he almost made it past the first day. He got eliminated 11 minutes before the end of Day 1, after playing from noon until 3:15 am!!!! But he had a lot of fun anyways.
I'm very eager to see your videos. I'm curious to see your new programs, specially the Muse one!
Caroline.

I don't have the bankroll (or money to feed my bankroll) to play the cash satellites into the WSOP and stuff... A guy I used to play StarCraft with just got invited to join team PokerStars cuz he made a few final tables at the series. I actually just used a whole bunch of points off Stars to get a hoodie

Wow, that is quite an accomplishment. Who is this poker guy you are talking about? Maybe Al knows who he is.
