For this winter, yes, I don't know yet concerning show performances. For this summer and until the 5th of november, I work 6 days on 7 in Hot Ice so... no time to rest, and in plus, I will probably also work as casting director (thanks to internet) for a show in italy this summer... but I really enjoy it and will take some holiday anyway in November (probably 2 weeks in the carribean...) I really need some sun, cause the weither here in Blackpool is really s...! lol

Ok, casting director was perhaps a bit ambitious but basically, I'm responsable to find most of the skaters and to organize the trip for the gala (as i did for a show in catania in march< on my website page "news"). But I love to do that, and yes I use mostly internet. As for catania in february, this is a one-time gala (not the Italian Champions Tour unfortunately) but it's very interesting to do. Anyway, i will post more news here about it as soon as things will be more advanced! By the way helga...Nothing to do with ice Skating but do you know or heard about Kristian Kristoff (he's hungarian, from budapest), he and his wife are good friend of me and he's an amazing juggler (we worked on a cruiseship together in 2003)! He's also the one who took most of the picture that you can see in the photo/video page of my website! I let you the link to his website: www.gentlemanjuggler.com/Take a look and tell me what you think about it!

By the way helga...Nothing to do with ice Skating but do you know or heard about Kristian Kristoff (he's hungarian, from budapest), he and his wife are good friend of me and he's an amazing juggler (we worked on a cruiseship together in 2003)! I heart about him ( guiness book - cigar boxes), but it isnt too much... Where do they live? In Hungary? So you are friends Have you ever visited him in Hungary? I like his website, but it was funny, i clicked on Hungarian language, and the hungarian part is also in English ok, i finished writing more and more questions... because i have still so many... but next time thanks for the information!

Hi Helga wrote: ok, thanks, cannot wait to read news:) i checked your site, and it is more clear now:) so this is the show you talked about, where Samuel skated. were you also there, or have you managed it from the UK?Yes, the gala that I'm working on is about the same than the last one where samuel skated in february! And, yes, last time I managed it from the uk (by phone, fax, email)! Give you more news about this one very soon! Helga wrote: lol:) how small the world is! it is strange, that I am hungarian, but didn't know too well Krisztián. I heart about him ( guiness book - cigar boxes), but it isnt too much... Where do they live? In Hungary? So you are friends Have you ever visited him in Hungary?Yes, they are based in Hungary (budapest), but they use to live more on cruise ship this last 5 years. I think that now, they will spend more time at home and stop the cruise ship! I never visited them but i was invited, so perhaps that I will try to go in winter! Something's funny also, I know that this is kristian fathers who produced a kind of "circus on ice" in Budapest (and they re apparently about 15, 20 skaters in it with bears and diffrent animals)! Have you already seen this show? and if yes, how is it?

Hi Romain, The new Hot Ice show for 2006 premieres on 7th April, will you be in the cast? You are very popular in the UK, and nobody blames you for not liking the Blackpool weather! Skating has become really massive here since the Dancing on Ice TV show, and ofcourse Daniel Whiston, the winner, will be appearing with Hot Ice again this season. I believe the new show is called "Amarni".If you'll be there, Good Luck for the Premiere!

heya la Rhumba Yes, I will be in the cast of Hot ice 2006! We re actually rehearsing the new show right now. there's a lot of new skaters this year coming from russia, ukraine, france, quebec, germany ... and I'm sure the show will be great. I've seen Daniel winning "dancing on ice" on tv, that's also very good for the show I guess but I was especially very happy for him cause he's really a nice man and hard worker. he deserved it I think ! Thanks for your compliments, i don't know if I am "that" famous in the UK but for sure I am really enjoying doing Hot ice Show! concerning the weather ...hum... lol, the problem is that living in the french alpes (a lot of sun and snow) make me be quite difficult about it anyway. Hope that you will enjoy the new show (1st half of hot ice, "chill" staying on the 2nd part) for hot ice 70th anniversary!

Thanks so much for your reply Romain! You sound like a very nice guy. I only wish I could go up to Blackpool to see the show, but I am in London. Fingers crossed I make it sometime, but I look forward to hearing all about it, seeing the photos, and hopefully the DVD. I wish you Good Luck and All the Best for the 70th Anniversary season, and I'm intrigued to find out who the new skaters are. I had lots of messages from an American last year, asking me about Anna Rechnio. By the way, did you know that former Hot Ice skater Marika Humphreys is currently in Calgary, Canada, for the World Championships? She's on the Ice Dance Judging Panel as Assistant Technical Specialist, and has had a rapid rise to the top level, as she only qualified last Autumn! Go Marika!!! I'm sure Marika & Vitaliy will be there at the Premiere next month, and hopefully they'll be invited as guests to skate there again. Although I was happy for Daniel to win, I did vote for Marika on Dancing on Ice until they were eliminated. I hope to see you on the next series Romain! I also have the DVD of the Champion's Gala show from last year, which is great. I know it's a long hard season, but I hope everything goes well for you Romain, and I'll be sending the Weather Gods vibes to bring lots of sunshine to Blackpool, especially for all the lovely Hot Ice cast, so they can visit the Beach on their day off! ;D For Fans of the Hot Ice Show, Laura runs a great Yahoo Group here: sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/thehoticeshow/I've posted a message on there with a link to this forum.
