can you tell us a bit more about it please?? It's quite hard to describe the experience of Hot Ice without writing a novel. Amarin, the first half, is a show dedicated to 70 years of dancing on ice, marking the 70th anniversary of ice shows at the purpose built arena. 2006 boasts a talented multi-national cast of 28 junior level skaters, and there's quite a lot of new faces this year! Amarin has a spectacular soundtrack, composed by NorthStar music. The numbers vary in style, with group numbers that really capture your emotions as the skaters express themselves to beautiful music. There is footage from shows that were not directed by Amanda Thompson played during the scenes, which emphasises the fact that it is a tribute to those years. Chill, returning again from 2005 is welcome familiarity which is based around the theme of Jazz and blues. Some of the numbers have been slightly altered or changed completely to accomodate the new talent of 2006. Costumes have been used from previous shows, but fit perfectly into the scenes. The same goes for props, quite a few props from previous Hot Ice productions have been used this year. Some of these can be viewed in the Gallery at the Globe theatre, where there is an exhibition featuring extravagant costumes and props from the past. I took quite a few photos of the exhibition and uploaded them to the internet, if any of you would care to look. www.yourphotoalbums.co.uk

heya thanks a lot. No, I'm not angry against Tugba, she was actually quite funny to work with (even if she didnt come enough to practice lol) and made me laugh a lot! For me: "Buzda Dans" is not really about skating at the end but more a classical "real Tv show". I just hope that it will make people in Turkey more interesting about ice skating As I said many time I will try to remember only the best of Istanbul! and so many nice people I met there. But now, I am really happy to start doing my Act again for Hot ice and many others show (in project) next winter. All the best Romain

Just try to find a piano as soon as I come to a new place (bar hotel...) lol but it is quite difficult when I leave for a long time! I also try to work in my "head" and a bit differently and if I can not have access to a piano at all, as soon as I'm back home (France or England), I play 2 times more than usual for a while!

thanks for answering my question romain, you know if i had a piano you would be welcome to come and play on it anytime, but i don't have one [ is'nt life a not a nice (female) person ] i would so love to listen to you practise, i used to listen to a friend practicing and i found it so soothing. of course thats if your already pretty good at it.

Rehearsals for Hot Ice start today, I think! (I thought it was the 8th, but I've been told otherwise...)
