Well I know Tomas usually says that his schedule works towards peaking later in the season and not early In Vienna he told me not to worry and he said he would be good by the time of euros and worlds... I do know that in the summertrainings I visited (ie in July) the focus was mostly on the off-ice work and the on-ice sessions were mostly about the basic technique, choreography, footwork, spins and learning the new programs. (in ice-dome they have special "footwork" "spins" and "choreography/expression" sessions with different trainers) really not so much about jumps and IIRC I remember Tomas saying that he only started to really jump quads again at the end of summer or the begin of autumn or something... I also remember Tomas saying that the summertraining was harder on his body than ever, it takes some time to regenerate enough power and energy again to perform well. Plus that the beginning of the season for them is mostly about testing the programs... in anyway, I don't think the GP series were that bad. Actually I enjoyed the LP at CoR very very much, even with the small mistakes. And when you think of it the GPF Tango only missed 2 axels (Mao stole them I am sure!! ) and to me he appeared a bit nervous, or I missed the confidence or something, I don't know how to put these feelings into words exactly...
