More FSU Quotes from coffeebean82311 ( www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?p=2172923&highlight=verner#post2172923): Good footwork = Good sign! Hopefully no silly footwork mistakes this competition! I get impression that Tomas has been rebuilding confidence through very hard work. He has everything to gain here if he just trusts his training, remains calm, and keeps history in its place. Okay, maybe remembering 2007 is okay.

I am surprised by american people being surprised by Carolina & Tomas's skating skills. I know, watching them live is a totally different feeling, but it's so evident that you can get it also by watching them on TV. I just love both! (Please advise if there is some report about Caro too ) Go OBERSTDORF TEAM!(we should make an oberstdorf banner for the Olympic year! I have ideas!)

Of course I did have the priviledge to see them live many times, but still. I just don't get how people could just miss this Jooo, the Oberstdorf banner. I have ideas too. but whoever feels up to the job can make one. I already drag so many around ;D

hmm usually Tomas is the king of practice. I cannot really find a trend here. Sometimes you can see on the 6min warm-up how Tomas feels. I think how he is, or what he skates like, just depends on what kind of thoughts go around his head shortly before and during the actual competition. It's exactly what he has been working on lately. Because physically, he can do everything a toplevel skater needs. Ta for that explanation Deedeelocks, it is nice to know such personal things about a skater I pray he does great!

Thomas fall on the ice! Perhaps it is not even in the race! But thanks, dee, as well as other photos and links. I believe that the race will not repeat the mistakes of training.

Hope he won't worry too much because he's skating among the last skaters! But the best often are at last. GOOD LUCK TOMAS!!!

I don't want to pull any conclusions from the order of skating any more. I'm afraid I will jinx something I will just be terribly nervous and for the rest we will see...
