Stupid dutch commentators :-( 14 th place seems a bit harsh, but then again there were a few scores that surprisedme...
Poor Kevin, not his greatest skate, but he'll do better in the free!....

He looked soo sad (and young!) in the kiss and cry! Poor him, hope it goes better today!! What was with the commentators Ske?? Luckily the British ones were really nice and supportive.

The commentators were going on about the fact that he had been injured, and how it was obvious that he couldn't perform well... During euros they didn't say a thing and now that he's a lot better, they're going to go write him off before he starts...

Fellow fans, Kevin skated a really nice long program. He landed his quad! He also did a triple-triple-triple combination (I recall it being Salchow, loop and toe-loop - jump details needs to be verified). However there were some deductions and here are his final results: 15th Kevin VAN DER PERREN BEL 128.20 64.50 63.70 It was I have been a big fan of Kevin for many years now, but have never had the chance to meet him. I never imagined I would get the chance to do so, until tonight. Shortly after his free skate, Kevin, Jenna and her parents made their way up to the stands, and were seated 3 rows away from me. I'm glad I summoned the courage to ask for his autograph. He has such lovely blue eyes. Here is the link to the photos (there are 3 of Kevin), if you guys would like to view them: www.facebook.com/p.php?i=746397338&k=46AX6WU346VM5GG1UCXTR3Here's wishing a speedy recovery to Kevin in his bid for Vancouver 2010 (Kevin was wearing a temporary tattoo of the Olympic Rings on his right triceps)! You go, Kevin!
