Uh, don't like any of them. Quintessential Eurovision songs indeed! Hard to choose but I'll give it a try. Well, so many English songs again. I always think they should sing in their own language instead of English; it would be better, a lot better. But I like this contest nonetheless just because it is cheesy and tacky! Bosnia & Herzegovina Don't like that song but the language sounds absolutely beautiful!! Estonia Such a cute girl. Pretty voice and gorgeous dress. Finland Was the guy trying to copy rappers? Far from rap tho. Norway Couldn't stop laughing. How clunky! Romania kind of interesting to see Sweden What on earth was that? Horror!! Iceland, Malta& UK: stunning voices I'd say the others were rather boring and I don't remember too much. My vote went to Estonia. Liked that girl and the simple performance, even though I don't like the song itself. BTW I wonder why countries tend to vote for their neighbors. Thanks for sharing.

I also think they should all sing in their mother tongue. Overall, I like not the power.... I liked: Sweden, Malta and Turkey. Malta was great!

Patricia was amazing, but this is so not "Eurovision standard" (it's much better ) The translation of the Estonian song: www.diggiloo.net/?2009ee

I like the lyrics of this song, they are not often good in Eurovision songs. Like the ending: "It weaves an invisible path before them, waiting until you dare to take the risk. This is the way" France was very good... maybe too good for this contest.

You're right Patricia did an outstanding job. I remember when I was a child many songs were sung in French. Now there's only France left. Maybe the EBU should re-think things and change the rules. The participants should be forced to sing in their mother tongues again.

It seems like Alexander/Alex/Sasha has spellbound large part of Europe. MünichMinskMaybe Näcken have given him some lessons on the violin.
