elanor, thank you for the links. Stephane was so dominant at MJ medley, I can't believe how few frames of him they left in the "official" video. Good that we have Korean fans. sunnygirl, thank you for your story. I think, it's not so terrible that he still doesn't have all his jumps the best, it's still early. And I agree about the difference in two programs he had: one is much more "extrovert", and the other one is very "introvert". Ah, and me too, I loved his hair. But I think he'll need to do some haircut for the start of the season. Maybe not.

Thanks, everybody, for the video links. And thanks sophi for Stephane's jolly moment. Yeah, this is the Stephane I saw at the show... Absolutely letting it all out and having a ball... Gotta love him... When I downloaded the video though, it seemed that Stephane's singing was out of sync in 00:37-00:45. When I watched the video on SBS site, he was right on the sync. Any idea what the reason may be?

I'll try to fix it and replace it if it's possible.

All the skaters who participated in the Ice All Stars have left Korea now, including Stephane... In one of her departing interviews with the press, Yu-Na expressed that the Ice All Stars show was a great fun and a nice break from the months of training. She said how honored she felt to be able to skate in the show with such great champions. She specifically mentioned two skaters - Michelle Kwan, naturally, as she is Yu-Na's idol, and Stephane. She said of Stephane, "...and Stephane Lambiel... When I was in Toronto, I had a chance to train with him for the first time. And I thought so much... wow, really, he is amazing..." That is not much, but as a currently competitive skater, Yu-Na doesn't mention other skaters a lot, especially when she's not specifically asked questions about them, and especially in such awe. I was just happy that my one favorite skater also amazes my other favorite skater... It was a short interview, and in Korean... but for reference, the link: news.sbs.co.kr/section_news/news_read.jsp?news_id=N1000630950Maybe sophi or other Korean posters can tell us more about it...

Thanks for the info, Sunnygirl. I captured the moment when she told about him (the subtitle says "Stephane Lambiel...great" . Actually, Yuna had said a few times that Stephane is one of her favorite skaters. I remember also that she mentioned his Poeta as her favorite free program from the 07-08 season. I'm so glad that my two favorite skaters appreciate highly each other . Greatest THANKS, dear girls, for all this amazing fairy-tale about Ice All Stars!!! I came from a business trip recently and had no chance even to watch all the treasures this thread contains. But 4 SEASONS gave me such a spellbinding impression! I'm actually in the most elated spirit! For me this program has always been a hymn for Freedom and Creativity. This time the mesmerizing effect was much more profound and captivating. I could have gone with praising the artistry for long lines, but as Stephane did his first show after announcing his Comeback, a competitive figure skating fan woke up in me - and I realised some crucially important thngs: 1. Stephane skated a FULL, 4.35 version of his program, while in all the previous shows he had been encharming us on the ice for no more than 4 minutes. Believe me, it's not a piece of cake to enlarge the program without reducing its intensity, difficulty and expressiveness. 2. More to that! - the level of difficulty was higher! All the spins in accordance with competitive requirements; the greater speed of footwork, 3. ...and a triple Salchow in the end!!!. No matter it was double-footed - it was done for the first time since the Worlds 2007! A seemingly simple jump that gets not too many points, but causes lots of pain for injured left thigh. So, three thousand cheers for Stephane!!! 1500 x (No wonder I would have joined the choir of Korean fans with their encouraging and happy screams ) Once again, huge thanks to all of you for this wonderful thread!
