Excellent! Nice to see them being given some air time! Will it be a pre-recorded interview? If I don't catch it tonight, hopefully there will be a podcast!

I managed to catch the interview on the podcast this afternoon (I did tune into BBC 5 radio last night but somehow managed to missed the interview!!). They did the interview through the wonders of Skype.

Was there something new? Do you think it'll be possible to download it from somewhere? (sorry, don't know what "podcast" is)

There is a link to listen to the whole radio program here: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00pn4vt (Click on Listen Now). The interview with John and Sinead starts 44 minutes into the program! The listen again feature is only available for the next 4 days unfortunately so be quick! It's available to listen to in the UK but I'm not sure whether it is available worldwide. I will listen to it myself again later today and I will try and take some notes from the interview and post them on here!

I'd be interested to know what they talked about since I didn't have the chance to try and listen to it.

They spoke a little bit about the season so far including their progress throughout the last few months, saying their programmes got better after kicking off the season at the Finlandia Trophy.
The interviewer asked about the free programme saying it's an unusual music choice; she admitted not having followed skating for a while and was wondering if this was the sort of music that was commonly being used now. They played a few seconds of the song, and John commented that their version is a lot more mellow than the one they were playing. So then they explained a bit about the meaning behind the free programme and also about them trying to chose themes that don't portray a love story as they are brother and sister.
An interesting question was about where they thought they currently stand in the world. The interviewer mentioned their 4th place at the GPF and asked whether this was where they saw themselves, 4th in the world. Sinead answered that there are many good teams out there at the moment, probably around 8, who could all do really well and medal, and that it pretty much depends on the performance at each particular competition now, how well each team places.
The interviewer then also briefly mentioned that they are being coached by Evgeni Platov and that he won the 94 Olympics over Torvill/Dean who had come back to amateur skating for the event.
These are the bits I remember off the top of my head...
