Not their best skate - but on the good side the judges are giving their skating skills 7.8+ so if they hit it right technically then there's no reason why they can't be hitting 60 in the OD for the rest of the season. and above all tomorrows a new day with a lot more points on offer.
Good luck for the FreeP - go for it!!
(pleased to see Coomes and Buckland making the cut too!)

I've just come online now to see the results. Wishing John and Sinead lots of good luck for the FD tomorrow! Pleased to see Penny and Nick remaining in the Top 16! Will be great to see both British couples perform their Free Dances tomorrow! Go John and Sinead!!!!!!!!!!

Although I'm having a hard time with the commentators I love what Swedish tv is doing. They show highlights on tv and about everything else is shown live on their website. I did switch to Eurosport's live coverage of the men this evening cause I love the commentators there, but I agree Eurosport sure short changed skating this time. I hope they're just saving up for the OLYs.

I forgot to say what I came here to say... I loved the Kerr's OD! The music was great, the costumes were very western and the whole program was fun! Best of luck in the free dance!

Well, you know, this competition is certainly important, but I think even moreso than the placement, it's important to take back the feedback, etc., going into the Olympics. I definitely wanted to see them higher (and haven't seen the dance to really comment at all). Hoping they rock it out in the FD!!!

I just watched the original dance. John & Sinead skated really well. A shame about the small error, but I really liked the routine. Dominina & Shabolins routine was a bit strange, buy the time I got over what their costumes looked like they had finished !. Pechalat & Borzat were fab, really liked them, I would have them over K&N. They were SO scrappy. Just because you can do really difficult things does not mean you should throw them all into one routine !. I love Faelle & Scalli. They should be in first. Let's hope for a great skate from J & S tonight. There was so much movement in the OD, there maybe a small chance of a bronze medal.

What time do they skate today ?

What time do they skate today ? The time schedule says John and Sinead will skate at 8.43 pm (in Estonia) So if you live in Britain that's 6.43 pm. Group 1 is starting about now. However, after Group 1 has finished, the competition stops and there will be a break until 6 pm UK time, then the competition kicks off again with Groups 2, 3, and 4. Bit confusing but there you go! Sinead and John will be 9th to skate (they are in Group 3). Please check this information for yourself and make sure I've got it right. I wouldn't want anyone to miss the action due to my incorrect calculations!!

Thanks Lilya. BBC interactive is showing it live from 6pm to 2010 according to its schedule. There might be coverage on www.err.ee/otse/etv from 7.30pm UK time, I think.

Dominina & Shabolins routine was a bit strange, buy the time I got over what their costumes looked like they had finished !. Their "music" distracted me so much (followed by the costumes) that I couldn't tell you a single thing about their program. The music really bugged me though. Looks like I'm turning into a grumpy old woman! lol

Melanie, I actually got an answer from SVT about why you couldn´t see SVT/Play yesterday! In the e-mail, Mr Ulf Nilsson at SVT told me that sometimes there is a problem if your IP-address is not European. Some internet operators have their IP-addresses on oher continents, and therefore SVT servers "cannot find you" in Europe, even though you definitely are here. I don´t know if this is why it didn´t work for you, but during the Lambiel-bonanza yesterday some other Europeans(not in Sweden) managed to find their way onto SVT/Play. (....maybe it´s just YOU Mel... ) I post the link again just in case... svtplay.se/v/1847675/konstakning/em__isdans_final..it is due to start in 15minutes.... 19.00CET (NO wait.... CET? I´m not sure this is CET..... Well, is is about to start sooooon anyway!!!! Good luck)
