Thank you pia. It's a kind of christmas market with special events. There must be a little rink there www.winterzauber.ch/Eisbahn-35I'll try to go when I find out at what time he will be skating.

I'm home and here is my little report about my trip to Wengen. This weekend I traveled to Wengen to see Stéphane skate. It was my first visit to Wengen and this region of Switzerland and I enjoyed it so much. It's beautiful there. Despite the snow chaos here in Germany I managed to arrive in time (my train from Germany was "only" one hour delayed) for my meeting with stephanie2006, goldguegi and pianomaya, for a dinner at "Pasta and more" and of course the show. I've never seen Stéphane skating outdoors and it was an incredible and wonderful experience although it was freezing cold (minus 8-10 degrees). We had an almost full moon over the snowy mountains in the background and it was such a beautiful surrounding for the show. He skated "William Tell" and "Let The Good Times Roll" and held a little speech after the finale (stephanie2006 posted her vids already and seemed in very good mood. I took many pictures of course (for the first time with my own beloved lens). For Stéphane I took of my gloves and nearly lost my little finger. It was SO COLD. I managed to catch "Kondenswolken" (don't know this word in English...) from his breathing. After the show he had to leave immediately for Lausanne to fly to St. Petersburg in the morning so he unfortunately didn't attend the after show party. It was a great evening and I'm very, very happy that I was there despite all the snow and the travel difficulties. I sorted and uploaded my pictures on my journey home in the train and you can view them here: www.photoya.de/galerie/thumbs/75/1/ice_republic_wengen.htmlHave fun.

faelkchen, thank you for your report and AMAZING photos! Some news from St.Petersburg: Stephane arrived to Russia safe and sound (we worried a bit that he won't have enough time to come, and because of the snow and everything). He skated "Ne me quitte pas" and "Let the good times roll". People say that he had some mistake in one of the programs. If I find some good photo, I'll post on twitter: twitpic.com/photos/lambielnewsThere is one there already.

Ok ! It was wonderful ! I was in Wengen saturday afternoon and I left monday morning. It's a beautiful region. The show was amazing, I never saw a show outside. And I was at the bar at 17 o'clock to meet Stephane and he has been attentive and really nice, as usual.

Was the meeting with Stéphane arranged and who did you contact for that? Or was it 'just' luck and how did you know to go to that bar to be lucky? You must have wonderful memories of your trip, enjoy them!! Salut, Annelfie
