Shows, yes. Better than the crap judging weve had to endure over the years....

"The Kerrs, coached by two-time Olympic ice dance champion Evgeny Platov in the United States, debated whether to continue this season given their age - she is 32, he's 30. Their lyrical and poignant routine, set to Exogenesis Symphony Part 3, exemplified an ease of flow that comes with superb skating skills and maturity. In the end, however, it was the error that made the difference. "It's a hard lift for us. Something went wrong with the timing. We were off," said Sinead Kerr, who wore a puzzled smile as she talked about the slip." www.france24.com/en/20101031-crone-poirier-win-ice-dance-gold

Hi there,
I was wondering someone could point me in the direction of either a personal email address, or a publicity officer for John and Sinead? I'm from an advertising agency in Edinburgh and are looking to do a quick Q&A with them. Please forward details to:
emily.smith (at) thegateworldwide.com
Many thanks in advance.

I hope they'll still do some shows!! Unfortunate way to have to go out but at the same time, the events they could attend were successful ones! I count myself lucky to have seen them at SC!

So sad. I'm really upset. I've been watching them since the 2004 Euro's & have loved every skate (even the bad one's !). They made so many people want to watch Ice Dance again & their choreography was always far more interesting than some of the higher ranked couples. I can say with complete honesty that I will miss them more than any other couple that has retired in the past 10 years. But they can be satisfied that they gave their best & should be so proud of everything that they have done. GOOD LUCK JOHN & SINEAD
