Thank you for the story and the videos. Oh, I really enjoyed this, thanks. It almost felt too short, well danced and acted out. Stephane is so natural with this kind of performance. I wonder if it's a one time thing. It looks like that, it would be difficult to skate it without the orchestra, it's very theatrical for usual ice show. I love these twizzles, they seem to be floating in the air, very beautiful.

I love the Opera on Ice videos, thank you so much for filming Stephane, milkyway, stephanie2006 and Mel! What a pleasure to view his delightful Rigoletto from the different angles. He truly acted while skating and I was like ;D when he yelled "Hey!" Thanks again!

The last few months were a real nightmare - so much to do, so many problems , I didn't have time for anything, even something I love as much as Stephane's skating! Well, today I finally have some time for myself. Thanks to everyone for the videos, news and comments, I'll surely watch and read everything during this weekend. And for now - look what I found! Good professional videos from Stockholm ice 2011 - apparently there was another broadcast with all programs shown. Most of the videos are unavailable in Germany and I can't see them, but from the ones that I can see I can tell that the quality is good. I don't plan to go abroad any time soon, so I can't download them. Can anyone from some other country please extract and upload them on some server like mediafire.com or sharehub.com? I'd be very thankful! Stockholm Ice Opening - www.youtube.com/watch?v=fs8htW9zr8UBring me to life - www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MYPDd7n0Pc

Thank you SO much Elanor, pia, estephania, milkyway, stephanie, Mel, marni for all the reports, links to videos and beautiful photos from Opera on ice!!! I am among the lucky ones who attended the show. The scenery was magical, the show too ... besides some few almost silly moments (like "happy xmas wishes" at that warm evening, because of the TV-broadcast of the show on Dec. 25th). There were SO beautiful skating performances, a phantastic orchestra, choir and soloist singers: several times I had goosebumps that evening (and not because of the outside temperature). In fact all the skaters would deserve to be mentionned .... but - as milkyway said - Stéphane really was the highlight of the evening. I don't know what it is about him, but it is incredible: He "fills the space" with his presence, it can be literally felt at a 50 meters distance, whoaaaah... . At the end of his Tell performance, my best friend (who is not even a big skating fan) rose to her feet - even before me and most of the others - like torn by a magnet and was all: "Whaaaaaaaoooouuuu!). I guess she was not the only one who had this effect. By the way, before his Tell - when Stéphane was already waiting on the ice, the speaker introduced him, saying that there were no words really for his artistry. He said that the famous tenor Luciano Pavarotti once had said about Stéphane, that the "finesse" he - Pavarotti - had the chance to have in his voice, Stéphane had it in his skating. Even if this was a bit exaggerated, there is something about it, I find. Well, now I have been talking, sorry. I just wanted to say thank you. And I am already looking forward to hear about the todays Golden Skate Awards show (hoping that Stéphane's injury is healed or heals soon)!

A special thanks to you, milkyway , for your videos and your report , also to you, Mel, for your great videos , and to you, mejokuste, for the nice report (I always love to read how people who have known little or nothing about Stephane are enthralled by him when seeing him live, or sometimes just in a video .

Thank you for the links to the videos from Stockholm Ice, freefall. Unfortunately, I can't see the 'Bring me to life' video here in Latvia either.

As for 'La donna e mobile', it's really nice and fun, and also something quite new for Stephane - this is the first time when he really tries to be funny in a program. A good practise for the comic show in which he is going to take part soon . A pity that this can only be a one time thing, for the program would most likely look even better if Stephane skated it a few more times.

I agree with you, Lauravvv. "La donna e mobile" is really a funny program. Lyrical and funny at the same time and it goes very well together. It's a pity that it "needs" an orchestra to be performed, so we might not see it any longer. But maybe it opened the idea to Stéphane that funny programs once in a while fit him very well, too?

Thank you everyone, for your reports and videos about Opera on Ice. It looks like a grand show. I really enjoyed it just watching the videos. And loved Stephane's presentation of course. And thank you mejokuste, for your report. I completely agree with you that Stephane seems to "fill the space with his presence." The arena somehow feels different when he's on the ice. And Pavarotti really said THAT about Stephane??? Wow, what a compliment! And I must agree with him as well.

Freefall welcome back. I was able to view the videos on YouTube so I used "KeepVid" to download it. I wasn't sure which setting to use (I'm not very techno) so I chose flv 480p, then uploaded this to my mediafire. Please let me know if I did it right, and if not I'd be happy to try again with instructions. www.mediafire.com/?ua296h28nn6q6d7 Bring Me To Life www.mediafire.com/?y8qc1bcit2djpeu Opening number mejokuste Thank you for your story, I really enjoyed hearing about Opera on Ice through your eyes.
