I read this on a tweet by Plushenkonews: From www.facebook.com/stockholmice - Show will be broadcasted (high lights) on TV4 Sport in Sweden 05.04., 19:00. I know it will be broadcasted also in Hong Kong and Russia but not in what channels... Does anyone have a link to maybe watch this on the internet? Salut, Annelfie

Thank you, freefall and pia. Nice "pair skating" . Is it just me, or does it really seem that the original version of 'Bring Me To Life' doesn't go with the program quite as well as Katherine Jenkins version? Probably it's only natural, since this program was made to the Jenkins version. In my opinion, the rap part in the 'Evanscene' version is at fault - it doesn't really suit the mood of the program. Or maybe I am just not used to this version yet.

The only sad moment in this show for me is that for some reason the promised world premiere of Please Don't Stop The Music didn't happen Although I was not there, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed too . I know that there must be some serious reason to it. And that's what worries me the most. Is this program really that difficult? Too difficult ??!! Must be one hell of a program, because it's hard to believe that something could be too difficult for Stephane choreographywise. I truly hope that Stephane won't decide to not skate that program at all . I'd rather see a slightly modified/easier version of it, than nothing at all. But Stephane may decide that he wants to skate this program as it was originally conceived, or not skate it at all. I really hope that I am just being pessimistic .

Yeah, I don't feel this music is good for skating, too noisy, too fast, lack of nuance, doesn't go smoothly with the original choreography and gliding on the ice and the rap part very distracting (plus the wailing woman getting on my nerves badly ). There's a reason skaters rarely use loud rock music for single numbers. Maybe Stephane wanted to try something different which is good. I'm not big fan of this program anyway, it's fine but for me he needs better, more interesting musical material to work with. I liked Last Dance, very good number for Steph's birthday and I love when he skates like this, everyhting is so joyful and natural.

Must be one hell of a program, because it's hard to believe that something could be too difficult for Stephane choreographywise. I think the only serious reason is that Stephane is perfectionist and he didn't have enough time to really work on this program lately. But now he will have the whole month without shows. So I hope we will see it in May.

I don't think it's about program being difficult. It doesn't take more than a week to put together even a complex program and then skaters rework it and improve it while perfroming it, that's how many Stephane's programs were cretaed and I loved watching the process. He can skate 3-4 difficult programs per season even being injured when he feels inspired. And he is in good shape. It's probably more like he's not in the mood for new programs now, busy with other things. I don't really miss Stephane in competitions (except Euros in Bern, that was hard), I'm fine with him starting a new chapter of his career, he had a beatiful competitive career and is even more suited for pro skating. But I admit I miss new programs every season, new music, costumes, that was exciting. I don't expect any big jumps or that every program will be very innovative and memorable, I just want him to skate to good music so Dima Bilan instead of Cullum and Evanescense instead of the violin concerto is a bit dissapointing because who knows how long he will be able to skate at the top of his abilities. I don't know if we will see the programs he was takling about, without competition there is no deadline so maybe yes, maybe not, who knows. But I hope after a break he will find his inspiration.

Actually I really liked his "Trouble" program. I hate the music and I hate Stephane for making me to listen to it, but I really liked the program. You're right, there is no deadline now. And he mentioned exactly this is his interview in Moscow: that sometimes he is a bit "lazy" and is not in a rush to show the new program, but that's why he tries to set some deadline anyway. And, well, the first one was in Stockholm actually... But I'm sure we will see both programs. P.S. The interview from Moscow I mentioned, not sure this link appeared here: www.championat.ru/other/article-80169.html(also small part in this report: www.championat.ru/other/article-79973.html)Video: ifolder.ru/22315136ifolder.ru/22315949

It's probably more like he's not in the mood for new programs now, busy with other things I understand all of that, and I hope you're right. I just mentioned the program being difficult because in that same russian interview which reut posted, Stephane told that this program has several very difficult elements and that he has not managed to repeat them in the same way even twice yet. Yes, he also said that he had to work more on it, so, hopefully, it's just a matter of time and work. As for 'Evanscene' - to tell the truth, I have nothing against them as such, although I don't listen to them. Some of the rock music I like is even heavier. I just think that their version of 'Bring me to life' is not quite right for the program, because it was made to the quite different, more lyrical Jenkins version. I agree with you about the program and music in general, though. But, on the other hand, we know that Stephane likes different music - including pop music (Britney Spears is his favourite singer, after all, and he even likes Lady Gaga). And, no matter how we may think that this or that kind of music suits him the best, in the end only he can decide that, and to what music he wants to skate.
