Hello from Moscow Since I politiked myself into press accreditation; I better report something LOL! Was at practice this morning (too early! at 8! Both Tomas and me prefered to sleep but it wasn't meant to be.) Tomas being the first person I run into when walking into the arena lol. Practice was good. I even saw a quad and he landed it quite easily. Couple of 3A too, not much of a problem. Only had a problem with the triple loop at the end of practice but after failing it for 2 or 3 times he landed it clean. Did a lot of other triples too and they were fine. Tomas said yesterday that he is quite satisfied with his performance. In Canada he trains according to a different style, which takes some time to get used to, so he is still in this process. That is why he isn't jumping quads now (in the program), because he is still adjusting to the new way of training which seems to be much more intense than what he is used to. These are pressconference bits actually which is on youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCMpqDFFrAYTomas also said that the ice in Russia is quite hard and his skates aren't the sharpest at the moment, so he is skating with a little bit more care, because sometimes he skids away when he doesn't want to. Today the ice was better though he said, it was a little softer. He practiced today in black pants, a black shirt with sequins and the blue glove. He mentioned yesterday that his costume consists of practicepants, a shirt from a friend and the glove. No idea (yet) what happened to the blue shirt. Whatever he was wearing today was good enough for me though oh and apparently, the breakfast of a champion is toast with peanutbutter and banana. The idea comes from Kurt Browning. I might even give it a try eventhough it sounds absolutely disgusting.

Elvis (Presley, not Stojko) used to eat PB & banana sandwiches all the time. They're really good, but maybe it's a North American thing. ;D

:)Oh, that's wonderful news! Thank you for letting us know. I have been sitting here at the computer just waiting for the results. Actually, I'm not surprised. I watched his short program as well as his performances in China and he is skating beautifully. Just love to watch him. He is showing much more confidence and its paying off. Here's hoping for his continued success.
