Sinead and I were most relieved to hear that you were unharmed by the Tsunami that struck Sendai last week. It must have been a terrifying experience to live through and we are just grateful that you are okay.
Keep in touch and let us know if we can help in anyway.
To my dear friend Yuka, (I hope you have had a chance to read my PM´s....)
I was so happy to hear from Melanie and EMJO that you are ALIVE!!! I was very worried when I realized that the Earthquake and Tsunami hit Sendai since I know that it is your home town. What you and your people are going through right now is horrifying, but I know that the Japanese are strong and will endure!
On a more personal note: I´m thinking of you when I munch on the lovely "Yoku Moku" you sent to me!!!! ...still a few left... You know I have your address, so if there is anything you need (ANYTHING), just tell me, I´ll try and help!
THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM YUKIUSA: (She emailed this message to me and asked me to post it for her.)
Hi. Thank you for all your kind thoughts. That means a lot to me. It makes me happy and now I feel that I'm not alone. Life is not always easy but I believe things can turn better. Thanks again, Yuka (yukiusa)
Yes I'm back...! My parents and I are doing fine and our house is OK. We live in the central part of Sendai city, where is far away from the coast and safe from the tsunami. Now we have water, electricity, enough food to eat and Internet access so I'd say we are back to a near-normal life. Thank you again for all your kind thoughts.
