Thank you!! I usually don't like videos with not the original sound, but now it works perfect! It gives so much more insight in the details of his choreography. So thank you very much for making this. Thanks! Salut, Annelfie

First about 'Bring me to life'. Some time ago I wrote that the original 'Evanescence' version of the song seemed wrong for this program to me, as I couldn't get used to the rap parts. But after seeing the performance of it in Torino I started to think that it could work if Stephane managed to make it so that his final spin didn't outlast the music. Because, in my opinion, with this version the program is more dynamic and emotional, even though it lacks some beautiful details from the first version. And the performances from 'All That Skate' proved me right. I finally got used to the rap parts and now 'Bring me to life' looks better than ever to me. I still miss that beautiful spin (I think you all know which one I mean), but I understand that it probably wouldn't work in this version, so it's fine by me. Now I am glad that we have both versions to compare and enjoy .

As for 'Don't stop the music' - there is much to say about it. I can't quite agree with freefall about the meaning of this program. I'll cite Stephane from an interview he gave to reut in November, last year: "The mood of this program is: you're at the end of the party; it's very early in the morning. You know that the night was very strange, you met some weird people. You enjoyed yourself and had a good time, but you feel like maybe you shouldn't have done it." I feel something similar from this program. To me it seems that, unlike the song itself, it is more about the feeling someone might have after a night in a club or some kind of a party (like Stephane said) - still living in those moments, not wanting the music and dancing to stop, but at the same time feeling that some of the things that have been done are a bit too much and not quite right. Kind of a bittersweet feeling. Of course, a person could be involved - that could be the reason for the desperation that we see in some moments.
One of the korean commentators said that Stephane is knocking on a door at the beginning of the program - I too think that it could be meant that way, and could be interpreted that he is knocking on a door of someone close to him, and that person is not letting him in, like knowing that he has guilty conscience.
As for the choreography - it's of course great, intricate and involves some innovative elemts. Yet, some of the moves remind me a bit of 'Tainted Love', only this program is more intricate and the mood and general atmosphere is different.

Dear lauravvv, I totally agree with everything what you have written about this Stephane´s program! :-) Since the first time I saw it, I was still thinking what write about it, my emotions were mixed, I could not tell like the others I fell in love with it for first seeing it (e.g. like with Un giorgo per noi or NMQP...) but I could not also tell I don´t like it. This programm is something very different - I like it of course - and your words are that right words I was all the time looking for.... :-) However choregraphy is great, most of movements are very special and I like them very much from the first time, fit the music prefectly! Stephane shows here another his "face" or how to tell it...and maybe this is too strong piece and I completelly absorbed the mood of this program and my sense was confused ;D and maybe that´s why I could not describe them in the right way. What tell more...everytime he tries to come out with new things its always connected with lot of emotions and BIG energy! It´s our Stéphane. Have a nice sunny weekend ;-) Sonia

But I have to say that my feelings about this program were very similar to yours at first. Only after watching it for several times I understood how much I liked it and came to the conclusions that I wrote about. But at first it was too much to take in. As I wrote, some moves are similar to Stephane's previous programs, the choreography is very precise and musical as always, but the mood is new - maybe a bit darker than we've used to seeing from Stephane before.

New GREAT pictures by zzikssa: ATSS Lambiel - Don't Stop the Music figuregallery.tistory.com/?page=10Here you can see: he is beautiful, he is crazy, he is spectacular. I never met someone like him in my life, and I worked with a lot more than 1000 artists. He is perfect and he is a genius. In German we call these people "Rampensau". I think there is no perfect translation into English for this phenomenon.

And I have to agree with everything that you wrote about Stephane. P.S.: I would really like to know what "Rampensau" means. But, unfortunately, I don't know german, so I'll have to remain unknowing about this word as well. Although I get the general idea, of course.

@ lauravvv: "Rampensau" does not exist in usual German. It's known by people who work on stage. Sometimes there is a negative connotation with it. But this I don't mean. I think it's like... when a "Rampensau", when he is on stage, the lights are on... he is there, just there - and he is able to get everyone with everything. Very difficult to explain in my bad English... I found 'limelight hog' for 'Rampensau' - but I don't know if it means the same I think about 'Rampensau'. Or it's just a bad translation?

Thank you for the explanation, schnaddel . I think your english is really fine. I am not sure if "limelight hog" is just a bad translation, but I think this is more the negative meaning of this word anyway, something like a "limelight addict/junky". Or it could be a humoristic translation, meaning someone to whom the limelight simply clings like "dirt to a hog" ;D.

Thanks, freefall. Yes, it seems that we are treated to new and new wonderful surprises from Stephane . I have to say that we are really lucky for that.
