Dear all, at first I´m sorry I was not here for such looooong time...I was busy with routine life and had other worries you know... I was on show in Brno and I cannot find words to discribe all my feelings I had that evening and I still keep all that in my heart! Thank you reut for nice words about Stéphane and his programmes, you found right words to discribe it. I saw MBIC for the first time and was absolutely pulled inside the program..and Ritz ...wow!! what movements, his smile comming from his heart, I was also very shocked what everything he can do on the ice! Personnaly and be honest, I do not like jazz, but I LOVE Stephane´s jazz program so much!! Immediatelly fell in love with that Since the show I was thinking what to write here about the show I saw in Brno ...and still was not able to find the right words to describe all my feelings from that night. But...aleachim and reut wrote it perfectly for me and your messages impressed me so much I had to write also! I have to say I was really deeply touched by the show itself, I got the ticket as birthday present and this gift is the best one ever I received. Such experience is nobody else to steel me, erase from my memory. The audience was absolutely perfect, each skater had great applause, the mood in the hall was great and I could feel it also from all skaters, they were really touched by it. The hall was full of GREAT, INSPIRING and BEAUTIFUL ENERGY! Hope this show will come soon again!!

Thank you for your story, sonik. I'm glad you decided to write after all. From what I heard from skaters and Ari, the show in Brno was probably the best in how the audience received them, out of the four shows they had in this tour. I thought you might be pleased to know that.

And this is only confirmation of all my feelings I had that night.

Thank you, aleachim, reut and sonik for your stories from the show Glad you enjoyed. I love reviews of the shows (also official ones on the forum here ) but even more when people share their more personal impressions. It sometimes allows to see things that I didn't notice before and get more into the programs. I understand people's strong reaction to MBIC program, all the feelings coming with it. I had it when first watching the program: hit in the stomach, break into pieces and being put into whole again. I love how the program is choreographed and structured and how it serves the performance when he gives himself totally. There is so much struggling energy and bare emtions, like feeling the heartbeat and blood running under open skin and then such tenderness and relief. It's almost like giving birth to the new soul. Beautiful and filled with humanity, what else to say. And I even more appreciate the music version created and recorded for the program. Maybe the voice doesn't sound so great on the recording as live and it is not perfect, but it gives the program and performance fulness, completness of experience like in theatre. The fact that Stephane can be director and actor of his own play and put it on a stage making it from scratch into such unique performance, that they allow him such chances, it's fantastic. I'm not that big fan of Ritz program (I love the first part and really love Nina Simone so I'm dissapointed every time it ends suddenly ;D, and I can't completely absorb the rest of the program, it's a bit drastic for my brain and I dislike the guy's singing ) but it is very fresh and enertaining and the final part sequence is top master class of everything great skating should be: difficult technique, original choreography, interpretation and great performance with style and fantasy.

Remember he had a little "vocal choreography" for his "Rigoletto" when he shouted "Hey!"? Apparently in "Ritz" he has it too, he shouts "Wait!" when he "runs after the girl he noticed" before the "Gaga part" of the program (or maybe it was just this time? ). I never noticed this detail! that's really interesting, thank you!

One more thing, not sure where to post it. We've opened a FB page for Ari Zakarian and all his shows (upon his request, of course): www.facebook.com/pages/N-Ice-Entertainment/568500046498910Hopefully there will be exclusive and updated information there. And hopefully it will include Stephane very often too. Please, like.
