thank you, reut and thank you, littleely and welcome! I worry a lot too when I read of his falls, and I'd wish him not to do too much.. but also I think that he loves to challenge himself and maybe he'll never stop trying so hard you're right, "not news with Stéphane" Maybe he wouldn't be the best skater in the world if he hadn't this kind of mentality

Last week I found 4 videos of the pre-show where the skaters respond to questions from the audience, here not been published. You can see Yu-Na and Yagudin but you can listen to the answers of all, especially of our Stéphane. ATS SUMMER K&C Rehearsal #1 youtu.be/UKXvOODvpNoATS SUMMER K&C Rehearsal #2 youtu.be/dq9zjIlSasc ATS SUMMER K&C Rehearsal #3 youtu.be/de0bVxKk57cand youtu.be/Ry7F-36BRTIIt's a shame not to see him but the speeches are cute and fun. Thank you littleely for the links to the videos from the ATSS rehearsal Q&A session. I didn't expect them to be on the net, because those Q&A sessions are exclusive for people with special paid tickets for them. And I think people are not allowed to record them. But apparently this brave soul went ahead and did record it. I think that's why the camera is constantly on Yuna and Yagudin only, as to not be seen recording. Anyhow, the Q&A session is a fun way for fans to meet the skaters. And this session was hilarious, especially Yagudin among the skaters. I thought I would point out the last question of the Q&A session, which was directed to Stephane. The guy with the question came to the ice show for the first time, with his girlfriend, and the only skater he knew was Yuna. His girlfriend, a skating fan, went "Wwwwwaaaaahhh!" when Yuna came on the ice. But when Stephane came on the ice, she screamed "WWWWWAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!" So he was asking what he should do about this situation, as the girl's boyfriend. Stephane said, "Don't be jealous." Then he thought for a few seconds, and said, "maybe try to scream higher than her when Yuna is on the ice." I definitely would have wanted to see Stephane's face when he was answering this.

And one more program he skated last year was Magic Stradivarius. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqSFawEc_gA&feature=channel&list=UL It was not new, only adjusted old exhibition from 2002/2003. I remember it especially because it was the first program of Stephane that I really liked, it was original and had something of his own. Since then he was always assosciated with violin in my ears, from Magic Stradivarius, Scottish Fantasy, Four Seasons to Tchaikovsky's masterpiece. Wow, what a revisit! Magic Stradivarius seems only days ago, but it's already been 8 years! Like you, it was one program that really impressed me about Stephane along with Chocolat. I remember watching his exhibition to this music from Euro 2003 over and over and over. In the days of Plushenko and Yagudin, it was such a breath of fresh air to see someone with such expressive and elegant upper body movement and wonderful musicality like Stephane. This performance really brings back the memories... And as for voilin music, there's also the Gipsy dance program that he skated to (also by Marton) at 2004. I loved that program and would go back to watch it from time to time. I thought it really brought out the romantic quality in Stephane's musicality in his earlier days and wish he had kept it and used it for 2004 Worlds. I think Stephane is such a great interpreter of violin music. To me, violin is really about the outward expressiveness and passion, with a great romantic quality. And that is what Stephane's skating is like to me.

shine, me too, I really love Gipsy dance. The program, the costume. I watched it first time with the commentary of Ilia Averbuh ( here) and he said so many nice things about Stephane. Though I'm not sorry he didn't use it at Worlds. Because "Zabuca" is amazing too, and performance at Worlds 2004 was one of his technically best ever. * * * We talked a lot about Tchaikovsky and I wanted to add few words about "Ritz". When I feel tired or sad or need to distract myself for a few minutes from work, I watch one of the numerous videos of this program. And now, thanks to Korean fan, we really have lots of versions, from any possible angle. What amazes me the most that from each angle I see something new, I find some detail I didn't notice before. From each angle program looks a bit different, but never boring. Usually programs are constructed "for the judges' side", and it spreads to show programs too. There are always "better points" and "better sides" of the rink, to where all the "tricks" will be oriented. In this program each side gets some special treat. I was desperately searching for the "ideal video" of this program. But probably there won't be one, as some details and movements will be missed or shown from the back. Anyway, I wanted to share with you this version: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPhjP1-aLRgIt has different point of view, a bit from above. Because of it you can always see his skates, you're more focused on what he is doing with his feet. It's hardly news how great his skating skills are, but I literally couldn't take my eyes off.

Thank you, reut . It is a great video ! I like this program too. Stephane's skating seems so light, it is so full of playfullness ... besides all his acting- and skating skills. At the very end it apears to me to see a bit of "singing in the rain". Even though many other skaters did it already, I would love to see a whole 'Stephane-version' of it. Besides it is only now I realise that he has worn this costume before, in other materials and colours, for his 'in your eyes' program at AOI with Anastacia. It fits him very well, I find. The same for his Tchaikovsky-costume: I really, really like this costume, the colours, it goes so well with this program - and with him .

Dear littleely, thank you so much, you really made my day! I hoped in secret for Stéphane-focused videos from the ATSS It is such a pleasure to see his artistry in harmony with nice music on ice. I would love to take off my hat to his art ;D So many funny moments off-ice, he is such a talkative and friendly person! Sometimes I thought - the rink is too small for him to express himself enough. The organizers of ATSS chose IMO interesting topics, music and costumes this year. The show had to be incredible. Today I saw the group performances for the first time. Now, I am in a better mood than before watching, thank you;)
