"Ne me quitte pas" with K&C: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhC9Rqsp2uUIt was really hard to see him hurt like this, it was really unfair what Tchaikovskaya said and he absolutely didn't deserve that... It's indeed very unfortunate that he had to endure all this BS - Stephane is probably the most versatile skater in this past decade. As we all know, Stephane, more than anyone, takes every one of these performances very seriously even if they are not eligible competitive programs, unlike many professional skaters who don't see it the same way. It was so obvious that he poured his soul into that performance (I was shaking from the intensity of the emotions in the program again), and to hear comments like that from Tchaikovskya is like a big slap on the face, not just hurtful but also very insulting. Maybe others wouldn't have taken it so badly and would be able to just shrug it off, but not Stephane. Nor any true artist who has self respect and takes their own works very seriously. I'm glad TAT saved it by giving the comments that she did though. I think it truly came from the heart. For such a senior and important figure in the skating world to make a gesture like that (bowing) is definitely very special.

He is smart to understand the purpose of the project, and the skaters accepted the rules of it He is smart, but when I saw him two days after this project in Bern he was really hurt by what happened there. By many things not only by what Tchaikovskaya said. He was also hurt because he really prepared hard for this project, he saw it as a competition, and then to get something like this... But I love what he posted yesterday on his Instagram, I think he is over that long time ago. http://instagram.com/p/jo6WDHoCTk And, of course, it was naive to think they will let him and Team World win on Russian TV, in the project which was planned to be broadcast just before Olympic Games as a reminder to cheer for Russian athletes. He couldn't possibly win. It's just he was a "wrong choice" for that matter, if they wanted Yagudin to win they needed to invite someone else.

Oh, it's shocking and sad to see Stephane sad and confused like that after NMQP. I do hope he understood meanwhile what it was all about. He not only had Mrs Tchaikovskaya's for him 'confusing' words, but also the wonderful reaction of Mme Tarasova, and obviously also encouraging and praising words of Mr Petrenko (can somebody, please, translate what he said?). Mrs Tchaikovskaya's words seemed hard for Stephane to digest, especially for NMQP which is such a inspired program. But he often said he wants to continue to develop. So, who knows, maybe her words even motivate and inspire him in the future to "yet try more" - (even though, me too, I find Stephane is one of the most versatile skaters already - one of many reasons I like him so much). This 'competition' seemed to be something really special for Stephane. Certainly he takes all his performances really seriously, but I found that his programs were even more intense than usual this time. Especially his "Tell" was of such an intensity, it made me shiver so touched I was. I am very thankful for Stephane's soulful skating … and do hope he does not regret but sees all the positive sides and reactions over all.

jomeku, briefly what Petrenko said (if I remember correctly, don't have time to re-watch) that he had an honour to work with Stephane one summer. And that Stephane has this ability to be good at practices but then even better at the competition. And then in the end he said that the only thing he can ask for if Stephane can repeat this program again. (and Stephane said: "of course").

I should mention that the number of compliments, admiration, excited comments I saw about Stephane on Russian forums is overwhelming. I don't have time to translate, but it is really like a waterfall of love.

That's great! And he deserves it! And I hope he is aware of it (both, of the admiration he gets AND that he deserves . And it's touching that he gets this reaction in a country like Russia with such a big figure skating tradition.

and justified it saying that Stephane skated all his programs in the same beuatiful style and didn't show something new and surprising Wow. She probably knew from the very beginning that she had to give a better mark to another skater, didn't she have time to prepare a less ridiculous "reason"? Definitely Stéphane prepared himself a lot for this competition, but she didn't. Honestly I can't imagine programs with a more "different style" than "Toreador" and NMQP, just to mention the one that he skated right before. It is so hurting to see Stéphane's sad reaction, he looks like he really believed in a fair, honest competition. And suddenly someone is slapping him in the face with a "welcome to the real world" absurdity. Nice of him that he was clever enough not to say anything. Maybe she even didn't think what she was saying, and if she did, well, lucky the ones who can recognize art when they see it and it looks like they are many What does TAT say? he looks like almost crying when she replies..

jomeku, he is aware of this, I made sure he will be. Anna, TAT said lots of nice things: that she want to throw her entrails on the ice for him, that she can't imagine how it is even possible to give to such skate 5.9, that the story he told was incredible on such level that she feels the need to come up for him again and bow. He was almost crying because of turmoil of emotions, mostly still because of Tchaikovskaya, I think. I loved what he said in his speech in the end. I will translate it later. He said quite a lot, but in a very smart way. Also they didn't show that, but in the end the ovation was like 5 minutes for him and he did a spin for encore for the public.

There's a voting for the favorite skater of the 'Cup of Professionals' show here: www.vokrug.tv/faces/25If I understand well the online-translation, "special material" will be prepared about the winner. For the moment Stephane is in lead. One can vote once every three hours. So, let's help him win this!

I think me too like Anna that probably Stéphane really believed in a fair, honest competition since he is an honest person easy and limpid - think that others are like him The Judges wanted to win Russia so it was obvious that the end would give lower ratings to the others skater - but the excuse that they found this time really does not hold water. And was very sed for me seeing him so down in the dumps for a judgment so without roots or real reasons if not the one that the whole Professinals Cup was just a way to advertise russians skaters before the Olympics in Sochi ! But the important regarding to his performance it is not the Judges fictitious evaluations but the ones of his audience Jomeku me too have voted for Stéphane - in the link you upload - and did it different times. Now he is ahead of all the others with a difference in a lot of other votes but you or someone else know which is the end of voting
