Thank you for your enthusiastic feedback, jomeku! Yes, "Britney shirt" was the next day, I will write the last post about "Champions!" a bit later today. As for Stéphane's students, to tell the truth I doubt any of them will become world champion (maybe Noah? ), but the fact is that in the end he achieved the result he wanted, and a final product was indeed of a high quality. And children didn't complain at all. Next time if you have a chance you should definitely go to Sauvabelin, the park is nice too. Especially in summer I guess.

OK, the last part of the story, not much left to tell. After the rehearsal with children was finished Stéphane stayed for the costume fitting and checking how it looks and how it feels to skate in it. He was so excited that I didn't have a heart to tell him what I really think about it. Well, I did like the jacket. It was freezing and we were all outside for quite some time, when in costume and still without jacket he was almost... how should I say... wearing nothing. And yet he was super energetic, didn't feel the cold and said he can skate the whole night long (in such moments I indeed doubt that he is human ) After everyone left the ice they started to rehearse the videos on the building and although I was really tired already I stayed to see it, because I knew it was my only chance to see it. So, overall, in parts and in a "wrong" order and with images separately from the show on the ice I almost saw the whole show (except the drummers, but there I saw Stéphane's part) The next day it was rehearsal with Bastian Baker. And Salome came to help Stéphane, I was really glad to see her. They were rehearsing the song which was composed especially for this show. I really, really loved it, the song itself and how Bastian sang it. It has a catchy melody, and the choreo was really fitting. I loved it together. I even asked Stéphane and Salome afterwards if maybe they might consider leaving this program. But it was initially created for that non-standard ice, so it would require work to re-make it. As they were rehearsing again and again. And again and again. And I already had like 300 full length photos of Stéphane from that and from the previous day, at some point I started to play with close ups and try some "less" standard frames. I think some of them came out interesting, even if not perfect technically. That's it. I had two truly magical days in Lausanne. And I'm glad I recalled and re-lived them now, while writing for you these posts.

Thank you for the stories! I love reading them and stories with pictues are very vivid. Rehearsals can be as interesting as the show, at least with Stephane.
The costume looks better in the pictures. When skating, blue with black skates is too distracting, I can't focus on the blades. From distance it looks as if he had only big shoes on.
I don't know why TV bothered to film the rehearsal but not the show, strange. Maybe it was just clip for the news.

When reading this, it's really almost impossible to believe the efforts he takes for a one-day show. Just amazing. The close-up pictures are wonderful (too)! I'm glad you had magical days (after the difficult time before) and that you could re-live and enjoy a bit the effort you took to share all this with us. Once more: Thank you, reut !!!

Thank you, Reut, reading it's a bit like having been there I have to say that, being fortunate enough to see him at practices a few times - and see how perfectionist and hard working he is (I noticed that he usually is the last one to leave the ice, staying there alone to keep doing things again and again when all the others already went to dinner, even if to us "mortals" what he does looks already so much better than everything else - and one would say that it's not him the one who "needs to rehearse it again"...), I'm not surprised to read that he is so "strict" with his students. He just couldn't be the kind of teacher who says "oh nice, you did sooo great" when things are not more than perfect I'm absolutely in love with this photo: farm2.staticflickr.com/1523/24254066831_4671e199d4_c.jpg

Of course, my favorite is that you say that you hear people talk about Stephane part, as his fans, I really feel honored! Sorry, taipeifollowers, I missed this post from you. I don't to plan any photo book, the quality of my photos is definitely not good enough for that. But if you want to make one for yourself, you can choose any of my photos and I will send them to you in original size.
