Stéphane agreed to meet his fans again in Verona. The meeting should take place on Saturday (October 8) around 12, inside the Arena as usual.
A little rules-reminder:
- This will not be an autograph/photos session, but a chance to meet, speak with him and ask him your questions. - The main language of the meeting will be English, as we will have fans from all over the world. But please, feel free to interact if you want to say something, even if you're not sure about your English abilities! None of us is mother tongue, none of us is an English teacher Stéphane will be probably the only one of us with a very good English, but I promise you that he will not judge your language and, if you are not able to translate something, please tell, we will help! Of course, "translator's job" must not be done by Stéphane himself, but someone else will help. I can translate from Italian, if someone wants to volunteer for other languages (or is quicker than me with translations from Italian), please tell. - You don't have to speak if you don't feel like doing it, you can even just listen, don't worry - We will have photographers, so please don't take hundreds of pictures, don't make him (and us) feel like at a press conference. Of course, if you want to take some, you're free to do it, but don't use flash.
Most important: - Be respectful of everyone there, and above all try to think about him and how he can feel meeting so many people at once.
Do we have people from forum who plan to come? Do we have someone who can help with the video? It will be pity if those who couldn't come (including me) won't be able to see it...
ALSO, do we have questions? As last time everybody were too shy and he asked for questions a few times. He said the meeting will be for half an hour, as usual. But, as usual, if there are not so many questions he might feel like leaving earlier. Because this is the main purpose of the meeting actually.
Hello, thank you for this great new! I'm in Verona and I will go on the show at Friday and I'm happy for an opportunity participate on fanmeeting too. Unfortunately I'm no camera specialist etc but some questions are in my pockets and I hope it will be nice meeting for everyone in the end!
Hope the meeting has lots of enthusiastic fans with many questions and no sound checks in the background! I can't attend in Verona, but would love to know if there will be an Ice Legends in 2017 (hope so!!). Also, if reut and Anna think it's appropriate to ask him, his thoughts on the Vernets controversy would be interesting.
Tania Volosozhar mentioned in her recent interview that she wants to be back on the ice after delivery towards "Ice Legends" next April. So I guess there are plans. But it will be good if he confirms it. I doubt he will spill the beans though, as it is too early and he looooves to intrigue. I think it is appropriate to ask him about the situation in Vernets, although, of course, we should remember that it will be only one side of the story. But with the numerous articles on the subject I'm still confused about what will be with the school and with the rink... And, for example, if he'll be able to use it for the "Ice Legends".
I'm listening now to the audio and I really enjoy. I think it was a wonderful meeting, with a relaxed and warm atmosphere, a lot of good questions (and interesting answers to them) and a good mix of laughter and being serious and deep in answers.
I see it was around 40 people there, wow. Quite remarkable. I still remember the first spontaneous meeting when we were something like 12. By the way it was FIFTH meeting at the Arena already! How time flies. I definitely hope we will have there TENTH meeting too one day.
I watched those videos at least twice already (and while being at work! otherwise it would have been more ). Can't wait to watch the moment about "Shake it off", it sounded so funny on the video! What I absolutely love about this meeting is that people felt free and relaxed, they joked, were not afraid to talk. And questions had kind of logical flow, one question naturally continued the other. That's why I absolutely didn't feel that it was more than 40 minutes long. It was such a lovely, lovely meeting, really, thanks to every one of you who was not shy and made this meeting to be an informal conversation with a friend and not a "press conference". (I'm still trying to find a "recipe" for the "perfect fan meeting")
