Stephane skated Poeta again: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PDKbsGp68cThis time, I would say, it was fantastic. This might be the first time I really enjoyed the program, all of it. It was confident, sharp, on the beat all the time, great balance and conection between lyrical and dramatic parts, very focused and strong. It is so theatrical, it seems smaller stage and even slower blade movement gives more focus to the choreography, the musical story gets the center and I don't feel it is a figure skating program, it is a dance, indeed. I also like the shorter version better, it's more intense, plays to the rhythm of the whole and builds up to the climax so well.

Thank you everyone for sharing photos and videos. I really love "Music on Ice", one of my favourites in Stephane's year cycle. It is not huge and overwhelming like AOI, but it usually has nice cast, and the stories Laurent Tobel invents are always fun to watch even if I don't understand the language. Each time I dream about coming again, but so far it worked out for me only twice. Well, maybe next year? But I'm very grateful, thanks to videos I could feel like I almost was there. Galyna from lambiel_ru was there too, she shared some rehearsal videos she by chance could take: www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4CtBF0hWwMwww.youtube.com/watch?v=LKDyE8kxifMwww.youtube.com/watch?v=NL3YLAzPfcAIt's nice that Stephane performed "Poeta" once again. A bit sad that "Poeta" had even less jumps this time (no 3-3 combo) and that the loop didn't work out for him in both performances. Not that he needs any jumps in his programs. But maybe after all it is a bad idea to return to competitive programs? In comparison it shows too well that the technical level deteriorates... On the other hand it's a bit selfish from me to say: when I knew I will have a chance to see it at "Ice Legends" I didn't care at all it will look different; so other fans also deserve to get this chance. So I kind of have mixed feelings about it all. Funny enough all "Poeta"s starting from "Ice Legends" were shorter than the original version, but I noticed it only now, when watched videos from MOI. It looked "less Poeta", maybe because of less jumps?

www.operaonice.eu/it/ticketing.htmlTickets for IntimissimiOnIce 2017 are on sale now. The new show is called "Divas in the Arena" ( ) I see that this year, the ice rink covers the whole center of the arena. That's interesting! As part of the cast they "only" mention Evgeni, Shizuka Arakawa ... and Stéphane! so far ...

Thank you, jomeku. So glad Stephane will perform in this show again, whatever they decide to call it! Surprised not to see Carolina in the cast but since it's the Olympic season, perhaps she's decided to skate only in competitions, and the October date is getting very close to the start of the Grand Prix. But I'm happy to see Stephane & Shizuka!

Let your self be veeeery tempted! To tell the truth: last year, I was quite disappointed about big parts of the first act, and thought it was the last time for me to have attended the show. But then I liked the second act much more. Some beautiful tableaux, beautiful lights, more skating ... and wonderful Andrea Bocelli (I do not mention great Stéphane now - even though I could ). The day before the first show I was in the Arena, hoping to get to see the skaters rehearsing. Bad luck ... they were not to be seen; either they had been rehearsing in the morning or later in the evening. BUT: I got to watch, respectively to hear, Andrea Bocelli and Ilaria Della Bidia rehearsing, it was such a beautiful surprise (I filmed their duet to 'The Prayer' and it was so touching; I'm still watching it very often). And then there was the veeeery nice fan-meeting with Stephane . And it's always a pleasure to be in Verona, or it's surroundings. What I want to say: after all I'm persuaded there are many good reasons to come to Verona (again) .

There are a lot of good reasons to come to Verona, I agree. The problem is that there are also many good reasons to go to Rostelecom Cup and they are too close...

But with advantage for Rostelecom Cup, I would guess (And we could look forward to more interviews, photos from there ).
