Thank you for posting this video. Seems like a nice place to stay for AoI, especially if they promise Stephane in a speedo at the pool! Hope he did manage to get in a bit of relaxation, but with his insane schedule, probably not. Well, the place itself is in St. Gallen, which is not one of the AOI stops. But looks really nice indeed (the hotel I mean, not the boy )

Article in German named: "The positive stressful life of Stéphane Lambiel": www.telebasel.ch/2018/02/22/das-positiv-stressige-leben-von-stephane-lambiel/Stéphane Lambiel's life is more than filled, even after the end of his career. He participates in the Olympic games as figure skating coach.Stéphane Lambiel appears in a good mood to the meeting in the mixed zone, which takes place shortly before the practice of his Latvian skater Diana Nikitina. Therefor he has little time. Anyway, his calendar is fully packed, also after he resigned after his 4th place at the 2010 winter games. "I have thought it will become very quiet after Vancouver, but the opposite is true", Lambiel says. (...)Follows a part about Deniss and Diana, how he got to know them, his school in Champéry where he also works with beginners, that he's active in Japan in summer where he also helped Shoma Uno. I won't translate this, we know it already...) I'm not strict, but preciseIs he a rigorous coach? "I know that you can not demand quality from the kids right away. However, in figure skating precision is needed from early on. I'm not strict, but precise". As a coach he particularly likes the combination of the psychological and the technical aspect as well as having to deal with various personalities. "You can give them the same direction with the same exercises, but everyone has to practice 'on his own wave'. This is thrilling", Lambiel says. He also finds it exciting to set up all the training programs. In general, good planning its extremely important in his life, because it is a challenge for him to coordinate everything, also because different associations are involved. In addition he still performes himself in blocks. "I had many shows around christmas", he says. Also as coach, you continue to learn
Next to come is Art on Ice in Zurich, Lausanne and Davos, in June he will participate in a tour in Japan with "I think" 15 shows, and more appearances are planned in August and October. He has not forgotten anything yet, he still knows to do the quad toe loop and the triple axel. "When you teach, you learn a lot yourself, you can visualise a lot. This helps enormously", Lambiel explains. What does he say that American Nathan Chen had six quads in his FS, out of which five were clean? "That is unbelievable. Quads are necessary, but not everything. There is a way for skaters who are more than good jumpers". This is underlined by the Japanese Olympian champion Yuzuru Hanyu, who showed three quads in his FS, means only one more than Stéphane Lambiel when he won Olympian silver in 2006. "In the end charisma is very important in our sport". (...follow some words about the Swiss skater Alexia Paganini..) One can see that Lambiel is satisfied with his life. He does not feel stress, even though he only had two weeks of vacation in the last two years. "As a coach, you never have a day off", says Lambiel. He actually isn't on the ice on Mondays, but then the whole administration has to be done. But Stéphane Lambiel does not want it differently. (sda) ... (And I try not to have too hight expectations in Stéphane's performances at Art on Ice which starts next week ... because I guess with his crazy schedule and the Olympics he did not have much time to practice. I try ... )

Mmm, does October mean Verona I wonder? (June is probably "Fantasy on Ice" and August is Shuzuka's show?) Thank you for the link and for translation. Coach loves precision and his skater constantly gets level 2 on spins, just saying...

(And I try not to have too hight expectations in Stéphane's performances at Art on Ice which starts next week ... because I guess with his crazy schedule and the Olympics he did not have much time to practice. I try ... I was told that the practice ice rink was open for skaters (and that's why we saw Deniss practicing with Yuzuru although he is not in the gala). So maybe early morning/evening Stephane got some time for himself to work. I'm more concerned about him being very tired and he told me once he usually always catches cold before/during AOI, always... So I'm just wishing him to be healthy and feel well and take a good care of himself, and then I'm sure we'll enjoy his new programs. Looking forward especially to "Schindler's list", it sounded really interesting and special. I guess we should open new thread for AOI? It's about time.

LOVE pianomaya's video! I'm not capable of making videos or collages or such things,....] Sorry for off-topic but do you make videos on windows or mac? As I used a window computer I used a software to make videos which costed. It is but long ago so I don’t know how now is on the windows. Now I make videos on mac, so I use iMovies, which is in mac. I could make better videos on windows I think but software on mac has also got better. Everytimes when I try to do something new on this software, I search in google, so I learn everytime something new.

Thank you for posting the pictures and video, reut. Love the montage pianomaya created! And so happy to see Stephane is taking a little time off to relax in his favorite place - in the water! (I know the birthday boy is an Aries, but he must have some Pisces in one of his moons or whatever.)
Hope he had a great birthday and has a fantastic year, full of health and happiness, creativity and beautiful skating (both his students' and of course his own!).

Stephane's message to Yuzuru during Yuzuru's show "Continues with Wings"
I guess if Stephane recorded the message he indeed was invited (which is nice to know) but couldn't come.

Sweet messages to Yuzu from Stephane and Javi - thanks for posting, reut. But the video at the Cricket Club, oy, I'd mercifully forgotten about Stephane's shaggy hair back then!😲
