Yes, they wrote a bit about Wolfgang Beltracchi on the official site: www.artonice.com/en/shows/My article about AOI 2017 and AOI 2018 with quotes from many people. absoluteskating.com/articles/2018artonice.htmlAs you can see, Stéphane didn't reveal me that much about the number (I also used things he said during the fan meeting). Hopefully soon we'll see what all those "points" he mentioned were and how well they are connected.

(...) My article about AOI 2017 and AOI 2018 with quotes from many people. absoluteskating.com/articles/2018artonice.htmlAs you can see, Stéphane didn't reveal me that much about the number (I also used things he said during the fan meeting). Hopefully soon we'll see what all those "points" he mentioned were and how well they are connected. Oh, thank you very much for the article, Reut! No better way to tune in ! For I don't know what reason I'm looking more forward to this AOI show than to any of them before. Because, maybe, for what you write in the end of your article: "The 'Art on Ice' 2018 has been given a title: THE ORIGINAL and it will be all about art. It will show itself off as a world of art, as an exhibit of art from various periods and we can't wait to see what it has in store for us!" Yes, that sounds great! I'd wish Aljona and Bruno would show their Olympic FS, that would be wonderful! I'm also very much looking forward to Meryl Davis and Charlie White, loved their performances last year (and I will miss Ksenia and Fedor). Also waiting for 'The Prayer' with Tania and Max (loved it sung by Andrea Bocelli two years ago in Verona (skated by Kiira and Stéphane ). And, of course (for me above all): Stéphane back on the ice, with new programs! Where will he take us to? So curious about his interpretation, the costume. As always when he skates ... I'm excited ... and very nervous .

Glad that you read my article (wondering all day if anyone ever needs those articles... ). I'm always excited about AOI, so many memories and wonderful flashbacks. And, yey, Stéphane's new programs! It's already tomorrow, how exciting! I'll be waiting for stories, reports (and hopefully videos too ).

Thank you! Looks great! I'm nervous, nevertheless. Soon on my way to the premiere (if the snow situation allows - there have been quite some rail/road problems this morning ...)

Stéphane's first program to 'Schindler's List': www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyxMyzCLGsoIn the booklet they describe it in German and French. Translation to English: Vaslav Nijinsky (1889-1950) ballet dancer and choreographer, star of the "Ballets Russes". Nijinsky had already retired from his artistic life when he was diagnosed first signs of schizophrenia (1919). The life of this dance genius ended in chaos and insanity. 2nd program to Emeli Sandé 'Read All About It': www.youtube.com/watch?v=Juzi697j3rMStéphane got beautiful standing ovation after 2nd program Videos quite shaky, loss of focus and partially with bad sound. Sorry. But I'm quite confident (hope) that pianomaya will be at the show one of those days and provide us her as always very high quality videos . Won't you !?

Some photos appeared here, including a beautiful one of Stéphane: newinzurich.com/2018/03/opening-night-of-art-on-ice-zurich-2018-the-original/Very nice "promo video" from Ticketcorner: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GSkbZc8d9gAt 1:00 Sarah Meier is asked what has been her personal highlight of the evening. Answer: "Without any doubt and once more Stéphane Lambiel! I just asked if my make up was smudgy because I spread tears. Really, once more a masterpiece he put on the ice. Really, I was blown away." Stéphane's performance to "Read All About It" was the highlight for I think most of the people. As I said above, he got standing ovations. Rightly so: His interpretation of the music and the atmosphere that was created together with Emeli Sandé was breathtaking!!! And I liked his costume a lot ! I've never seen AOI audience give such extensive standing ovation before, except during 'Finales'. Besides Stéphane, most applauses went to Evgeni, even before he started to skate to "The Storm". He is very much appreciated and I think it was also meant as special tribute for him, as he had come to Art on Ice so many times and this is his last year. He fell twice, first time when landing a triple (?), 2nd fall was a 'stubler'. I wondered if he hurt himself because he did not show his 2nd performance, 'Heaven'. But then he came back for the two final songs of Emeli Sandé, showed some jumps to "Highs & Lows". So what happened with his 2nd performance ? Also Eladji Balde was very much loved and applauded when he had his solo part in "Clown" and showed his back flip and jumps. In any case, the atmosphere was very supportive and the crowd cheered loudly for all the skaters. More than what I was used to see in other years. I hope this will continue in the coming shows!

Reut and jomeku, thank you for the news, pictures, videos and translations! It's so good to see Stephane skating again. Reut, I always look forward to your thoughtful, informative, well-written articles.
Jomeku, thank you for so quickly providing us with videos of the show and with your impressions. I'm so glad you made it to Zurich safely and happy you've been delighted by the shows. I don't really get the connection between Nijinsky and Schindler's List, but the program is lovely and looks well performed by both the dancer and Stephane. Read All About It is wonderful and I like the costume; I look forward to seeing Stephane skate it in his Japanese shows. LOL at Stephane's joy at landing his perfect quad in the finale!! Yes, Monsieur Lambiel, you've still got it!
