Well...I suppose it all depends on your outlook. Yes, first isn't usually the ideal spot to be skating, but on the other hand, it can have it's plusses--not having to keep muscles warm, feet not cramping in skates or having to take them off and put them back on... The best part about skating first is that you can relax for the rest of the competition. I guess we'll just have to see. Good luck to S&J!
