It takes practice. On the place where you dance, there is a center spot where you rest your feet, and then an up arrow, a down arrow, a left arrow, and a right arrow. When you're playing, on the screen arrows appear as the song goes along that tells you where you should put your feet. It could be left arrow/up arrow, or up arrow/down arrow, or just an up arrow followed by a left arrow...and all of these in succession and/or in combination. Once you get good at it, the quicker the arrows appear on the screen and the faster you go...hence why coordination is big. It was a really big thing in the US a couple years ago, it's sort of faded a bit but it's still pretty popular. They have the real systems in arcades, and you can also buy cheaper versions for home purposes. Supposedly it's been found that the dancing is a good form of exercise, so they are now encouraging families to use this as a fun form of exercise for children. hehe. I haven't done it for years, but I was pretty bad at it when I did it. But I've only done it just about five times, so my coordination is bad and I'm not used to the system yet.

WOWIE!! That really sounds amazing! Would it help when you are a musician? I mean, when you understand music quite well?

There's also a simulator for hands not for legs. You just wave your hands under or over two handles. I saw girl playing it- she was veery good... I still admire herself

redlittlewing, any chance you'll be able to capture the Ice Chips video? I won't get to watch it "live" because it'll be in the middle of the night here in Europe and I won't have any internet connection at that time, so I'd really appreciate it! (and I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one )

Celine, Lizzie - I'll have to see if I can find a program that does! The broadcast is using windows media, but the program I've been using up to this point only works with Real Player...I also doubt it'd be in very good quality, but I'll see. The files might be huge as well...realllllllyy big. I suspect that there will be people on other boards that will try as well, or someone in the New England area that can get it from their tv...but we'll see if I can get it. Nansy - I'll re-upload that later tonight, after I'm done with a paper!

Nansy - the video is taking ages to load...I might have to post it tomorrow... Celine - I found a way to save it - I hope it works - I need to fiddle around with it a little while longer, first. I haven't used this program before, so I'll have to experiment a bit, first.
