Could anyone be so kind as to translate the article, please! Will I get some Karma points for it :PJust kidding Here is my try On the cover it's written: Stephane Lambiel - My secrets to win"I feel ready for the Olympics"
150 days before the Torino Olympics begin, the figure skating World Champion is already very focused on his objective. We've followed him at his trainig camp in "Graubünden" (that's a mountainous region in Switzerland, beautiful one actually )

then on the second link I've given... the caption of the pic is as following: At he end of August, on the Flims Lake, concentration and balance exercice for Stéphane Lambiel. The World champion is quietly preparing a season that could be the one of all the pleasures (coming true)(sorry for the weird translation, I know the last sentence is a lil bit dodgy )

Then:
Stéphane Lambiel twirling around the December ice, the picture is nice but it only shows the emerged part of a hard work iceberg. The main part of the work is made during the summer, away from the cameras, far away from the sequins and the audience applause. It's between July and September that the physical work is done, work which is supposed to bring the skater his full potential during the skating season.

From Ocotber on, it will be too late to work in depth. The programme which is waiting for Stéphane is insane: New York in October, Beijing and St Petersburg in November, the Swiss Nationals in December in Biasca, the Grand Prix Final in Osaka before the Holidays, 2 galas (Villars & Engelberg) between Christmas and New Year, the Europeans in Lyon (16th-22th of January), the Olympics in Torino (10th-25th of February) and finally the Worlds in Calgary (14th-20 of March). Furthermore he'll have a new status to defend everywhere.

This Summer, as the vacationers were eating ice-creams, the "Valaisan" (that's how people of his region are called) ate his own ice. At the end of August, we've met him again in Flims, where he was attending a training course organised bya the Swiss Skating Federation. In the programme: skating of course, but also dance, jumps on floor, musculation, physical condition, limbering up exercises.

But what is he doing here?
Even if the presence of the World Champion could be sometimes considered as incongrous in this pre-teens training camp, even if the executive staff didn't seem to be up to it sometimes, Stéphane Lambiel hasn't let himself diverted from his objective. "I'm more ahead of my schedule than last year at the same time, say Stéphane, delighted. My title has brought me much self confidence and has avoided me to loose time."

In Flims, Stéphane has carried 2 pensums to a successful conclusion: the 600 pages of the new Harry Potter and the 20 hours on the ice with Illia Kulik. Olympic champion in Nagano, Kulik might not have read Cocteau (famous French Writter): <<Whatever the public blames you for, cultivate it: it is you!!!>>; Kulik on the other hand, forces Lambiel to skate like Kulik. To the great displeasure of Lambiel, systematically called to order when he's going away from the trajectory drawn by his coach. The tissues breaks (skaters have always the nose running, especially during the summer when it's 30° outside and 5° in the rink) become small scenes where Stéphane comes to empty his sinuses and anger out with various tunes. Angry: <<He doesn't let me do anything!>>; Cynical <<that's a distortion stage>>; Frustrated <<Impossible to discuss with him, I can't say him anything>>; Euphoric <<I've got 20min of free time>>; Fatalistic <<Just 4 days to go...>>

Standing next to the rink, Majda Scharl is treating the strokes of Stephane really seriously. <<It's good that he's reporting his frustration. He's got plenty of things to take from Kulik. Let's take, he'll select after. This stage is finally a very good mental training. This season, Stéphane will have to face a new pressure.>> And if the positive attitude is not enough, his mother Fernande is remebering him the basics on the phone: <<Work, Work, Work...>>
