Hi, I went with my friend to Bratislava. We went in Zsofia's car with Zoltan . We had been together all 3 days. We were all the practicing and programs. It was very interesting, beause there were Julia Sebestyen with her coach Andras Szaraz, and a Turkish skater Alper Ucar with his Hungarian coreographer, Istvan Boross. At the competition we saw among others Kevin van der Perren, Alvarado, Verner etc. We always sat next to the rink, there was very cold! We always were cold! And the skaters sat around us. Kevin practiced behind us and he didn't understand that we watched his practices but we didn't go to him and we didn't ask autogram from him It was funny ... We had a lot of chat with the Hungarian skaters and coaches we played jokes on together and we learned a lot of things there. We cheered very much for Zoltan and Julia and we were glad of their results! Though Zoltan started his short program very modest, he did a faultless double axel, and a triple-triple combination and a triple lutz, he got plus scores for his circle steps even, but it wasn't enough...he was only 10th place after the short program. In his long program he also started double axel, after this he did his triple lutz!-triple toeloop combination and a triple loop. After the 2nd minutes of the program (for plus scores!) he did a double flip, a triple toeloop and a triple salchow and a double salchow-double toeloop combination too. He got plus scores for his spin combination and his steps so he placed 6th after the free skating!!!! He advanced 4 places in rank! ;D
