Overall it was just a terrible SP. Almost no clean program, I don't remember when it has been that bad the last time.

just by a spot... i was hoping he would skate in the lp being the skater from the host country but looks like it's not gonna happen, he's not in the start list for the lp gutsy choice to add the 3 axel but i can't help thinking had he done a clean 2 axel he'd have made the final (see Toth...)

yes, i also hoped, but no hostcountry skater yes, thats true, but he usually does the 3A, he/and others also could fell in another jumps too... but thats true, that with worse program he could be in the 24 - with clean jumps... unfortunately nobody can see before the competition where he would have mistakes... how is Carolina? fingers are crossed for her, we all support here very much to her! Tell a Good Luck from Absolute Skating to her

Hello everyone. Haven't been on this board for so long. But I thought of posting a message after last night. Karel must be crushed after narrowing missing the final, but he has skated at the Olys in front of his home crowd and this is something to be v. proud of. Plus, he's so young!!! He'll have another shot at it in 2010. I'll be supporting him. P.S. is K. going to skate at the Gala? I was really hoping to watch his Alexander programme ... oh well, let's hope he'll be in Calgary.
