For us, it is usually a big turkey or ham dinner on Easter day with the family, and lots and lots of chocolate. The kids will also do painted eggs. And on Monday, we all sleep in and take the day off.... Caroline.

the boys'll sprinkle us with perfume or something like this and they'll tell a poem.and my dad'll wake me up with a huge bottle of water!! i hate it.i'm always soooo smelly!! the girls give some painted eggs to the boys. is this a tradition in your country too? or just a hungarian tradition I've never heard of this tradition. Sounds funny, lol Happy Easter to everyone!! Nina

HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYBODY!!!!! I know the same traditions are on in czech republic!!! kiss Ery Well with a small difference. The boys don´t sprinkle us with parfume, they beat us with a stick made of osiers or wicker. And we are to give them painted eggs. Sometimes it´s fun but sometimes the boys really enjoy themself and beat very hardly.
