Yeah, so I just got back from Liberty. I could've skated much better, but as my coaches said, "You had to do this to set a starting point for your training for the season." Here's the rundown on my program, which we watered down just for this since I'm not in good enough shape to run it complete right now. I'll also list my planned content for future competitions:
4T - step out
3A/2T - turn in between
3A - step out
3Lz - singled :[ (popping is my nemesis)
3L - fine... I was starting to dog it at this point so the landing was a little high on my toe.
3F - single -_-; was also supposed to be my 3 jump combo
3Toe - was fine ^^
3Sal - flipped out of it
So yeah, a lot of mistakes on the jumps. My spins and footworks were pretty good. I don't know what levels I got yet on them, but I know I have to add more rockers and counters to my footworks. (I predict they get level 2... barely) My spins were pretty solid I think. I missed one of the positions on the last spin because I ran out of time, but my deathdrop should be level 4, along with my combo spin. The other two SHOULD be level 3, unless I didn't hold a position long enough, which I'm happy about. I'll verify the levels when I get a protocol later tonight.
The actual jump content that you'll see out of my program in the future is this:
4T/3T
3A/2T
4S
3Lz
4T
3F/2T/2L
3A
3S
I start training the program with this content on Monday. Anyways, I won't go on any further, as I'm sure you'll have at least a review from Sylvia on the other sites like FSUniverse and UnseenSkaters. The event as a whole was pretty sloppy. There were a couple guys who skated really well for them this early in the season, but no one was completely clean. I've got a month before my next competition, Skate Chautauqua. It'll probably be an exhibition, but it's become a regular stop there since I have family nearby, and a lot of National level judges do that competition, so I'll be able to have it critiqued by the types of judges that will be judging me at the more important events.
EDIT: I was 9th. Basically everyone who did 4+ triples was ahead of me, and everyone else was behind me. I was correct about my spin levels, too, so I'm happy about that. Now to just get in shape so I'm prepared to do these programs at all the important comps!
