Im in istanbul for Dancing On Ice (Turkish version)... Someone offered me that and I couldnt refuse as I always wanted to visit istanbul! It's quite interesting cause people here are not so use to ice skating, so hopefully this programm will help to make ice skating more popular in turkey "Funny" cause I spent my birthday with some celeb who invit me to some bar in center of Istanbul (one called the 360 with a 360 degrees view of istanbul by night....lovely), and I dont remenber so much the others ones lol cause as you guys can guess, I was celebrating my big 30 a bit too much... lol i had a lot of fun anyway... Will probably give you more news about it soon. Big thanks and "Bravo" for the article and Photoalbum of PSOI in Antwerp, I really had a great time here and I'm so happy that you also enjoyed the show. bye for now... Romain

WOW! Merhaba Romain, nasilsin? ;D
How amazing that you're doing the Turkish DOI!! Good Luck with it, how is your parnter? Please tell us all about it when you get a chance, would love to know.
I had heard about this show a few months ago, as I believe some of the people from the Dutch/Belgian DOI are also taking part, and I followed that show very closely, as Vitaliy Baranov was in it, [Marika's husband].
I also really hope that Turkey will fall under the spell of Skating, maybe Tugba Karademir will appear on the show for an exhibition performance?
Glad you had a great birthday Romain, the 360 degree restaurant sounds amazing!!
I'm too late for your birthday, but I'll send you [glow=red,2,300]all the best for Christmas.[/glow] Selamlar ve sevgiler to you in Istanbul!

Iyiyim La Rhumba Tesekkur ederim lol Yeah, I have to learn a bit of Turkish, as I' m the only one here who have a partner that don't speak english at all! Which make practice quite funny sometimes lol So, my partner name's Tugba and she's a singer. She's nice (but very busy so not a lot available for practice unfortunately...). I also spoke a bit with Vitaly about this contract (as he was aware of it cause we have the same choreographer/coach here than the one for DOI in Belgium, name's Stephane Morel). The cast of the skaters is 2 Americans, 1 canadian, 2 german (Jan, who took part of the German version of DOI just before he came here), 3 Tcheque, 1 slovaque and me . We're still in Rehearsals right now and the show should start next week. They start to put some adverts on tv (it will be on "Show TV") and I will send you the link for the website as soon as the show will start and will give you more news about it... Speak soon, (iyiaksamlar La Rhumba) Romain

heya, The Slovakian is Olga BESDANDIJOVA (ex pairs competitor), she used to skate with her brother (who did DOI in Slovakia...) The Czech are: -Luska KADLCAKOVA (Ex pairs competitor), She was in the ice show "Romeo & Juliette" (in Czech Republic, Germany & Switzerland, with Radka KOVARIKOVA & Renee NOVOTNY, URMANOV...) -Jan NIRAD (Ex Ice Dance competitor), he was also in the ice show "Romeo & Juliette" ... and also in this ice show and here with us is -Alena OMARKRAMBLOVA (Jan Ex Partner). There's a very nice ambiance here between skaters and we have a lot of fun....as, in opposite of the others DOI show, we all practice together (cause not enough ice time) , stay at the same hotel and so spend most of our time together! bye for now...
