you lucky Germiona! Please report us, how he did skate! My fingers are already crossed for him, also for his brother, Vova! I heard it will be in the new stadium... Where is it exactly? Or is that the same where the GP was held?

Russian Nationals are in Mytishchi, that's a suburb of Moscow. The rink there is new (and quite nice, I've been there). They have main rink and practice rink under one roof, which is very practical. The Grand Prix event "Cup of Russia" wasn't held there but in Moscow in the "Malaia Arena" of the Luzhniki sports park.
BTW, I'll also be at Russian Nationals and I'm looking forward to it very much. :-)

Thanks for your welcome. I like many skaters, but Sascha is one of my favorites. He is a great talent and wonderful to watch on the ice.

You have to buy tickets for Russian Nationals. I heard of some people who got their tickets already. There is also information on the website of the arena: www.arena-mo.ru/ticket/But I didn't find prices. They say that all-event tickets are sold now. For most days, you can't order tickets through the internet anymore.

yes, because they sell only a small amount of tickets online.... its too bad usually, it happened at the Worlds (Moscow) too, then the website said one month before the Worlds, that no more tickets available.... at the tickets offices you still could buy ticks, in some they told, no more ticks, in another office they still had lots of tickets... I'll ask my friend about prices, I think she already had her tickets.... thanks for the site!

they had an informational email address on the site: mailto:info@arena-mo.ru
i saw there 6 available tickets, each for 400 rubel - when I clicked on online buying.... but can't check what for these tickets were, because the site crashed for me now:(

I've been reading on Anja's Russian messageboard (www.fsonline.ru) that the tickets have been going very well and that there are not many left. Funny enough, some people who bought tickets and are not into figure skating so much apparently expect to see Plushenko, Slutskaia & Co to compete! When I went to watch the show in Mytishi in May, attendance was also very good.
