Many thanks for this interesting interview. Julia has very mature and wise standpoints and speaks about important things. I like a lot her beautiful and feminine skating and wish her the best. And yes - her results in Euros and Worlds were pretty good this year.

Now unfortunately only very young girls can accomplish all this too technical demands. And when they get 18 or 19, and their body type changes, they are already not good enough. So skating career is so short, sad, but true, like she says about Michelle Kwan.
For me was a surprise, when she says, that difficult combination spins need as much energy as a jump, but probably it is so. I remember Lambiel saying, that make a beautiful spin in beautiful position needs a lot of physical effort and is exhausting.

And it’s also sad, but true, how in some forums anonymous people, who don't really know what skating is, are harsh and unfair.
But that never happens here in AS forum.
