I suppose you all are enjoying the holidays. For me, it's bad. So disastrous... It happened on New Year's Eve. After eating sushi for lunch I burst into sick and had a bad pain in my stomach and then I had a sore throat and a splitting headache. I guess it was not because of food since my little sister was OK despite the fact that she ate the same stuff. While my family was having dinner on the eve and special dishes on the New Year Day, I kept to my bed and all I was able to take was some oolong tea. It's awful and still I can't eat meat or fish.

I was finally able to have dinner on January 3 and am feeling better. Now is the time to say goodbye to medicine. Thank you for the explanation, ing. I usually take this traditional Chinese tea and Japanese green teas since they are healthy and nice. I can't live without them! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ing, I've been thinking about Adrian's name... In my country, the media pronounce it like AY-dree-en and AR-dree-en and also transcribe it into at least three ways by different characters. I think AY-dree-en [eɪdriən] is English pronunciation and then which is correct AW-dree-en [ɔːdriən] like always or AR-dree-en [ɑːdriən] like art ? (or anything else?) According to the announcers of the show in Uppsala, it sounds AW and from some clips it sounds AW or just like between AR and AW to me. I just want to call him in not Japanese pronunciation but correct Swedish...

You have the name in the beginning (0.05) of this video.I have to go to the library to see the Uppsala show since the internet connection at home isn't good enough. I think the third option (Art) is the closest, the an in the end is close to the sound in the beginning of UNder. To complicate things if you want to make a parody of someone talking as they do in Gothenburg you would use the sound in ALways.
P.S You can also listen to the video from Swedish nationals.

Thank you for the clarification, ing. I think I want to imitate the way people pronounce in Göteborg. Anyhow, it is very difficult for me to catch Swedish language. I watched and listened to the national anthem on You Tube. Soooo hard! I guess it will take time... But I like the way Adrian speaks. It always sounds cute melodiously.
