So, in terms of GP points, this moves him ahead of Lysacek and Preaubert. But if both Weir and Carriere medal at NHK next week, which is very possible, Tomas could be in the 7th spot. Now it's a wait...

The quad jump of today's Tomas was excellent. I'm very glad that the results of his LP were the first place. It will be up to it next week whether he can participate in GPF, but I think that it was good gain for him. And I think that he was able to see problem for him in this season and this program in this competition.
I want to be said to congratulations to him Because his LP is first place!!!

Oh yeahhhh!!!!! He did it!!! I really like his program and the quad..... so wonderful!!! About the quad: I don't understand a lot from the technical point of view, but I was thinking that he definitely can do the quad toe (He did it today in LP and twice in LP in China ), but he is not able to complete it during SP. So I was wondering if the problem lies in Choreo: it looks like he is too slow in the beginning of the SP so he has not enough power (arghh, it's not easy to try to explain in a different language, sorry if i messed up a little ) In any case : Tomas is just wonderful!!!!

In the LP I think he has a lot more time to stroke and generate speed going into the quad than in the SP. Maybe in the SP they should shorten or get rid of the opening pose to allow more time for stroking? But what do I know, I'm not a choreographer. He was much closer this time, just off axis.

I think the middle questions are not Tomas answers at all, though I still doubt about the medical problems one. But I do know Joubert did have problems with his skates, and I find it unusual for Tomas to use medical problems as an excuse. Besides with Tomas atleast before CoC nothing was wrong (or well if I believe what he said) so I think just the first and the last are Tomas quotes.

so I think just the first and the last are Tomas quotes. Ahh you're right. Joubert worked with Platov, and the other answers do sound like him. Fixed it.

So I was all looking forward to see the Michael Jackson exh. on tv (given that I enjoyed the version from China so much, but that was only online...) and I get Volare... I suppose Tomas alternates exhibitions this year?
