Dikke proficiat Kevin!

Gotta call him soon for some comments! Can't wait till Sunday: Exhibition Gala! I wonder what he will do Anyway, maybe you have read it on his website, but on January 3rd I met with Kevin at the icerink in Liedekerke. Had to drag my boyfriend with me who in the end,was totally enthousiastic about Kevin (and Jenna) too. Before, he never was really interested in figure skating. And guess what happened this evening? He said: please tell when it's Kevin turn to skate so I can watch it too (he was upstairs sitting behind the computer). Can you imagine? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I have to compete this Saturday (gymnastics), pretty important competition. I am injured to my elbow and recovering from a flue. When I see Kevin skate like that, with so many injuries (have you seen him making weird moves with his leg shortly before it was his turn?) I tell myself: takes his example and go for it!! People can learn from him!

Rambling Titia? I am all drained from all nerves etc.. lol Gala, let me guess, random ipod mix? ... or shall we all bug him we wanna see him skate with Jenna? :lol ETA: Welkom Karen. Weet ook niet of het zo goed is voor Kevin eigenlijk, de Britse (en Zweedse) commentators gingen er maar over door dat ie net zo'n zware griep gehad heeft....

Me rambling? I think Kevin his bronze medal and Samuel his silver medal are so much more welldeserved than Brian his gold. No offence, but...never mind, I'm rambling

Erm, I dont see whats so undeserving about it. He skated an awesome SP and got the marks for that. His closest competitors couldnt keep it up for the LP, Brian did...sorta. Not a great skate, but he fought and did get the marks that belonged to that, not first but second. Had any of the others that came close in the LP (Yannick, Samuel, Kevin and maybe even Alban) been closer pointwise in the SP, they might have overtaken him, but they werent. So with a great SP and a well enough LP, he did deserve his win fair and square. I do bet that Samuel and Kevin are happier with their skates (in LP) than Brian is with his, but thats a different story...
