For Germany, 3 skaters will participate. Coach Michael Huth designated Philipp for one of the 3 positions. If Philipp is fit enough until then, he will start at the NHT. Since Philipp is in Oberstdorf anyway, the decision will be taken relatively short before the NHT starts. This will also depend on his trainigs and if he feels well enough.
For all who hope to to see him there, don't panic, he will sit in the audience anyway, and therefore you may have the chance to see him at the trainings. I will be there (having my Laptop with me) and will be able to let you know about the situation.

Thank you for the good news, swissgaladriel! By the way, I wonder why Germany has the right to send 3 skaters to NHT? Is it the privilege of the host country of the competition?

Many many thank digitus quintus I will translate later! www.all-in.de/nachrichten/allgaeu/rundschau/Rundschau-trophy-spo-Glitzeranzug-und-chinesische-Laute;art2757,644227 In English (only about Philipp): The ice rink Suspense! While Häcker is carrying out her first swinging movements, other athletes stand a bit apart from the barrier, watching her performance. With slightly srewed-up eyes, and twitching corners of the mouth whith every wiggle of the skater. Of course I notice the little mistakes. Eventually, I'm on skates every day myself. Philipp Tischendorf (21) says. He trains since march in Oberstdorf, and is helping to organize the trophy in addition to his other duties. I collect the sheets of the judges the skater (who is from Berlin originally) tells. Not much what I do, really, but I have the possibility to observe the other skaters. ...
